August has just begun, and like clockwork, the first batch of games headed this month to Xbox Game Pass has been revealed. Here's a closer look at what you can expect to play in the first half of the month. Xbox Game Pass August wave 1 games Available today, you can jump into some old-school first-person spellcasting action with Heretic + Hexen. A re-release of the classic shooters, each game has been updated with several new features and enhancements. Xbox Could Be Planning To Make Xbox 360 Games Playable On PC
Xbox 360 games could be coming to PC, as a new report claims that Microsoft is aiming to bring classic titles from a bygone era to new platforms. According to the document (via The Verge(https://www.theverge.com/games/974544/microsoft-xbox-360-games-pc-disc-digital-program)), Xbox 360 games will also be playable on "Xbox PCs," handheld gaming PCs, and Microsoft's upcoming Xbox Series X|S successor, Project Helix(https://www.gamespot.com/articles/next-xbox-release-date-specs-display-price/1100-6525379/). This expanded backwards compatibility will tie into a larger roadmap for upcoming features. The report also claims that developers who make their Xbox 360 games compatible with PC will be allowed to set their own price and decide if they want their title to be available through Xbox Game Pass.
