Beast Of Reincarnation: All Keeper Golems

Summary

The post-apocalyptic zones of Beast of Reincarnation hide many secrets within their nature-reclaimed depths. Chief among these are Golem constructs designed to answer certain questions. Speaking with them will reveal Exploration Data, which are directions that lead to hidden weapons, manuals, and other resources that will help Emma and Koo on their quest.

The Golems programmed to answer questions are usually called Keeper Golems, and they die after they've addressed your inquiry. There are exceptions - we've run into at least one Rusted Golem who answered a question and didn't expire immediately after, and we've listed it here as well for the sake of accuracy. These Golems are all hidden in out-of-the-way places, but the Exploration Data they provide is well worth the search.

In this guide, we'll list the locations of all Keeper Golems and Exploration Data in Beast of Reincarnation, providing maps and screenshots to ensure that you won't get lost searching for these vine-encrusted robots of old and the rewards they hint at.

All Keeper Golems and Exploration Data

Below is our work-in-progress list of all Keeper Golems and Exploration Data scattered throughout the game. Whenever you find a Keeper Golem, you'll be prompted to ask a series of questions, and the Golem's answers will point towards Exploration Data.

It is possible to pick up an item that a Keeper Golem would've given you Exploration Data on ahead of time. If this occurs, when you visit a Golem, the question related to said item will be greyed out and the word "Known" will be shown.

Below, we've included the locations of all Keeper Golems and Exploration Data, as well as the questions you can ask. Click on the appropriate Chapter for more information.

Chapter 1 Keeper Golems

There are 3 Keeper Golems in Chapter 1's Ogouchi Buffer Zone.

Keeper Golem #1: Check the south-west corner of the zone to find this Golem sitting on a ledge that overlooks the Cliffside Village. You'll need to perform some jumps with Emma's hair to reach it. Unusually, this particular Golem is listed as a Rusted Golem rather than a Keeper Golem. However, its questioning-answering function is the same as the other Keeper Golems.
Keeper Golem #2: This Golem is located in the eastern side of the zone, in the River Fork Camp. Travel south-east from the camp to find it in a village along the map's edge, sitting near a shrine by a rundown, ramshackle house and a large industrial structure.
Keeper Golem #3: Go north of the River Forks Camp to come across the Ruined Tower Area. Use Emma's hair to jump to the top of the tower and locate the camp. There's an Elite Enemy here guarding a large tent; defeat it and speak with the Keeper Golem inside.

Chapter 1 Exploration Data

You can find the following Exploration Data in Chapter 1: Mechblade (Light), Manual: Fire Arrows, Manual: Acid Bolt.

All Keeper Golems prompt the following questions that unlock Exploration Data:

Where can I find weapons?

The location of the Mechblade (Light) in Beast of Reincarnation, lying on a weapons rack.

Asking this question will have a Golem direct you towards the location of the Mechblade (Light), a weapon with 27 Attack and the Mech Slash: Light ability, which increases the damage of attack 2 by 1.03x for 5 seconds. This weapon is located inside the large tent where you find Keeper Golem #3.

How can I defeat the Nushi?

Asking this question will have a Golem direct you towards the location of the Manual: Fire Arrows, which are flame projectiles that can be fired from your bow. Check the books located atop the table in the building in Cliffside Village to find this manual. Within the same building, you can also find some Fire Arrows and the Arsonist's Ramblings, a crazed note about burning things down.

Are there any weapons effective against the other Golems?

Asking this question will have a Golem direct you towards the location of the Manual: Acid Bolt, which lets you craft acidic projectiles for your crossbow. You can find this manual in a stack of books in the house near the Quarry Interior Campsite. Note that there's an Elite Enemy wandering around the quarry who you should probably deal with first.

Chapter 2 Keeper Golems

There are 2 Keeper Golems in Chapter 2's Ancient Civilization Zone.

Keeper Golem #4: From the Ruins Path Camp, go south. This Keeper Golem is on a perch with a large gap separating you from it; you'll need to use Emma's hair to cross. (You can also reach this Golem from below by grappling and making judicious use of Emma's hair to propel her upwards.)
Keeper Golem #5: This Keeper Golem sits atop a leftwards ledge right over the Raging River Camp. Use Emma's hair to jump up onto the ledge and follow it as it wraps around a tree trunk, eventually leading to the Keeper Golem's resting place.

Is there anything dangerous out there?

Fighting an Elite Enemy wolf with a purple mane who drops Skill Amber: Blinding Fang in Beast of Reincarnation's Zone 2.

Asking this question of a Golem always makes it reveal data on Elite Enemies. In the Ancient Civilization Zone, there are three such foes to worry about - two Golems that are relatively predictable, and a wolf with a purple mane, which is a new foe located on platforms high above the ground, across the gap from the Ruins Path Campsite. Beating this wolf gives you Skill Amber: Blinding Fang, a new skill for Koo that can bind enemies.

Where can I find crop seedlings?

Standing by a Crop Seedling: Tomato in Beast of Reincarnation.

You'll be alerted to the position of nearby crop seedlings on your map when you ask this question. There's a seedling patch on the same high ledge as Keeper Golem #5, marked by a scarecrow. When you interact with it, you'll get Crop Seedling: Tomato.
