📱 Mobile, Multi-platformPalworld’s expanding to mobile with a new MMORPG
After its 1.0 launch last month, Palworld is coming to iOS and Android with a new open-world MMORPG launching later this year, Polygon reports. Garena, the developer behind the new game, says in its announcement that Palworld Online "reimagines the depth, freedom, and scale of the original PC survival creature-collecting title for mobile." The core &8230;
📱 MobileSuikoden Star Leap brings 108 Stars to mobile this week in Japan
Konami has never been shy about digging back into the Suikoden well, and this time it's building something completely new out of it. Suikoden Star Leap lands on iOS and Android on August 7th in Japan, and yes, that means another 108 Stars to track down, because apparently 108 was never quite enough the first six times around. It's a free-to-play RPG set around the Rune of Change, one of the 27 True Runes said to have shaped the world, which is the kind of scale Suikoden has always been comfortable with. The story opens on a lakeside village east of the Scarlet Moon Empire, burned out by unnamed attackers, with a hero and three companions - Hisui, Shirin, and Shapur left to pick up the pieces before getting swept into something considerably bigger. ... 📱 MobileMy Hero Academia United Survival sets the date for launch and hits 500k pre-registrations
It seems we have a bit of a double-whammy of anime news today, as not only are Blood Strike launching their collab with Attack on Titan, but My Hero Academia United Survival also now has a launch date! The Survivors-inspired mobile spinoff of the hit shonen series is set to land on iOS and Android later this month, on August 6th! My Hero Academia should need little introduction, but for the uninitiated, it follows main character Deku, a boy without superpowers where they're pretty much standard. He has to navigate life at the titular superhero high school when he ends up gifted the powers of the strongest superhero on the planet, All Might. Naturally, all those flashy powers make MHA fertile ground for gaming spinoffs! ... MORE(https://www.pocketgamer.com/my-hero-academia-united-survival/launch-date-and-pre-reg/)
📱 MobileOrder of Kings introduces additional factions, weather, terrain and elite troops in its third season
The Three Kingdoms Period of Chinese history is fertile ground for action, drama and strategy. And it's one that's been arguably done to death by developers, but the studio behind Order of Kings have looked to make their spin on the period stand out with its blend of real-time 3D tactics and broader strategy. Order of Kings' main selling point is ditching pure numbers-v-numbers or stat-v-stat strategy in favour of actual real-time 3D battlefields with differing terrain and collision. Basically, think Total War more than Nobunaga's Ambition, and a healthy dose of real, authentic tactical and strategy planning. And Order of Kings' third season, Contention of the Schools, which arrives August 15th, is set to expand those offerings even further. ... 📱 MobileBlood Strike teams up with Shingeki No Kyojin for Titans-V-Human mode and collab content
I remember vividly that, when it first released, Attack on Titan was one of the first 'mainstream' anime I'd seen embraced by many of my peers. And believe me, high-schoolers pre-2013 did not view Japanese cartoons fondly. Now, more than a decade on, it's still going strong, including the newly released collaboration with hit battle royale shooter Blood Strike! Blood Strike will see the introduction of a brand-new humans-vs-titans mode that pays homage to the setting of the series that pits regular people against towering, man-eating giants invading their walled city. Naturally, that means donning the iconic vertical manoeuvring equipment to swing around the battlefield and take down the titans (mostly) on their own level. ... 📱 Mobile, Multi-platformPalworld is getting an MMO spin-off coming in 2026
Coming to mobile devices later this year, Palworld Online is an MMO spin-off from the 2024 hit that promises base-building, PvE, and PvP gameplay.
🖥 PC, MobilePalworld Online is an MMORPG take on Pocketpair's popular survival game that's coming to mobile this year
Palworld is something of a hot topic right now with version 1.0 going live on PC last month. Our sibling site, PG.Biz, recently did a fantastic piece on its viral rise to fame, so do check it out. And it's set to have a mobile presence as well, with the recently announced Palworld Online, which will be published by Garena. Palworld Online is officially licensed by Pocketpair and aims to reimagine the PC version's scale for mobile. However, rather than being a mere port, it should take on a life of its own, complete with an entirely new story and sidequests created specifically for this MMORPG. The world sounds pretty vast, too, with several regions to unlock as you capture and raise more of the titular Pals. ... MORE(https://www.pocketgamer.com/palworld-online/announced-ios-android/)

📱 MobileClub Soko goes back to its roots with Newgrounds demo
If you checked in on the site last weekend, you may have noticed we gave out one of our fairly uncommon gold ratings for a little music-themed puzzler called Club Soko. Jupiter, it seems, had a great time with this tile-shifting journey through the depths of the titular nightclub. And I myself had a go at it while I was on holiday and found it to be quite the hidden gem. As you probably already know, I’m also quite fond of comparing mobile to the old school Flash gaming phenomenon, pointing out the shared DNA and how some of the most entertaining mobile games follow a similar rule of fast, intuitive and fun design. Not surprisingly, Club Soko gave me exactly those vibes. ... MORE(https://www.pocketgamer.com/club-soko/newground-demo-and-flash-roots/)
📱 MobileSiege Foundry lets your war machine collapse one floor at a time
Mobile went through a stretch where everything was a tower bolted onto a set of wheels, rolling slowly rightwards while things fell off it. I had my fair share of fun with those. Siege Foundry is having another go at it, and it's heading to iOS soon. You pick a chassis, fit wheels, and stack up to five armoured floors on top, each one armed separately. Rams shove things backwards. Saws chew up whatever gets close, hammers reach a bit further out, and the upper storeys are where the ballistas and cannons and rockets live. ... 🖥 PC, MobileMutazione is free on the Epic Games Store mobile this week, letting you grow musical gardens and uncover family secrets
A meteor levelling a tropical holiday resort would be the entire plot of most things. In Mutazione it is backstory, and distant backstory at that. The survivors stayed put, and a century on, their descendants are mostly busy gossiping about each other. Better story, I'd say. Kai is 15 and gets packed off to Mutazione to nurse her grandfather Nonno back to health. He's dying. He also has plans for her that he's in no rush to explain. Everyone else in town has mutated in one direction or another over the past 100 years, and they've all got plenty to say about each other. Awkward for Kai. Good for us. ... 📱 MobileChariot Rivals lets you relive the bloody good fun of the Roman circus
It may seem unbelievable now, but back during antiquity, the world of arenas and circuses was pretty similar to our modern athletic competitions. Well, albeit with more blood and death, as Chariot Rivals so aptly demonstrates. Available now on iOS, it comes to us from the same folks behind the equally hard-hitting (and brutal) Knight Lancer! In Chariot Rivals, you'll (naturally) hop behind the reins of your own chariot and take on the circus maximus, or something like it. But this isn't horse racing, and every twist and turn can turn into a deadly pileup that sends you careening out of your chariot and onto the sand. It's all in good fun though... probably. ...
