!Castlevania Belmont's Curse october release date reveal gameplay trailer(https://www.gameinformer.com/sites/default/files/styles/bodydefault/public/2026/06/07/d6cf02bb/castlevania06.jpg.webp) Castlevania: Belmont's Curse(https://www.gameinformer.com/product/castlevania-belmonts-curse), the highly anticipated 2D action game from the teams behind Dead Cells(https://www.gameinformer.com/review/dead-cells/one-of-the-best-roguelikes-to-date), launches this October. More specifically, developers Evil Empire and Motion Twin, and publisher Konami, will release the next installment of Castlevania on October 15 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Set 23 years before Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, which launched on the NES way back in 1989, Belmont's Curse puts players in control of a new Belmont protagonist(https://www.gameinformer.com/state-of-play/2026/02/12/castlevania-belmonts-curse-made-by-konami-and-the-dead-cells-devs-launches), who takes up the holy Vampire Killer whip to destroy all manner of medieval and unholy creatures. Given it's a new 2D sidescrolling action game from the minds behind the excellent Dead Cells, it's unsurprising that today's new look at Belmont's Curse gameplay is an impressive one. Check it out in the Castlevania: Belmont's Curse release date trailer below: Castlevania: Belmont's Curse launches October 15, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
🟩 Xbox, Multi-platformClockwork Revolution Is Another Xbox Console Exclusive, Coming In 2027
As part of the Xbox Games Showcase(https://www.gamespot.com/articles/xbox-game-showcase-2026-all-the-biggest-announcements-so-far/), developer inXile showed off its upcoming action-shooter Clockwork Revolution, and confirmed that the game is releasing in 2027 as an Xbox console exclusive. It'll also release on PC. It's the second Xbox console exclusive that Microsoft confirmed during its Xbox Games Showcase, joining Gears of War: E-Day under that designation. A new trailer for Clockwork Revolution debuted at the Xbox Games Showcase event, showing off the steampunk city of Avalon and the main character, Morgan Vanette. The trailer also provides more details on the flying automaton Prentice, who is "part observer, part companion." We also meet Lady Ironwood, who "rules Avalon with ruthless precision." "She’s been using time travel to keep her grip on power, reshaping the past to make sure her future stays exactly the way she wants it. She knows what’s at stake, and she’s not giving up control without a fight. Once you start uncovering what she’s done, her Industrial Secret Service agents will be on your heels," reads a line from the game's description. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6B5NUd6B9I4 Head to the Xbox Wire(https://news.xbox.com/en-us/2026/06/07/clockwork-revolution-preview-xbox-games-showcase-2026/) to read more new details about Clockwork Revolution.

Spyro: A Realm Beyond Is A Brand New Spyro Adventure
!Game Informer News(https://www.gameinformer.com/sites/default/files/styles/bodydefault/public/2026/06/07/43a4d7d3/spyro.jpg.webp) Spyro: A Realm Beyond is not a remake of a previous Spyro game. Instead, it is a brand new adventure where the purple dragon is apparently stranded in "a realm beyond" and trying to find a way home while battling an invading force called the Scavs. The brief gameplay footage shown of the game, after a pre-rendered sequence, appears to show a strong emphasis on freeform flying. Spyro: A Realm Beyond releases Spring 2027 for Xbox (on Game Pass), PlayStation 5, PC, and Switch 2.

🟩 Xbox, Multi-platformPersona 6 Is Finally Official After Years Of Waiting
Following a series of leaks(https://www.gamespot.com/articles/leaked-persona-6-design-docs-reveal-potential-protagonists/) earlier this week, Sega and Atlus have officially revealed Persona 6, the next mainline entry in the long-running RPG series. The trailer was incredibly sparse on details, showing only a dark, ominous environment that looked a lot like a cemetery, bathed in green light. The color is important, as green has been associated for Persona 6 rumors for years now. For reference, all mainline Persona titles have a color attributed to them, with red for Persona 5, yellow for Persona 4, and blue for Persona 3. Little else was revealed in the trailer, outside of confirming that the game will launch for Xbox Series X|S and PC. https://youtu.be/9lwef2jan-Q?si=i227oDItpjSm9DdY Persona 6's reveal comes during a momentous time for the franchise, as it celebrates its 30th anniversary. While there hasn't been a new mainline game since 2016's Persona 5(https://www.gamespot.com/games/persona-5/), the series has grown tremendously since then. Persona 5 received a massive overhaul in 2019's Persona 5 Royal, and Atlus has released several spin-off games in the last decade, including rhythm games, a dungeon-crawler for the Nintendo 3DS, a crossover with Dynasty Warriors, and even a well-received remake of Persona 3: Reload. Additionally, Atlus is also working on a Persona 4 remake(https://www.gamespot.com/articles/persona-4-remake-sounds-like-its-still-a-long-ways-away/1100-6532621/), which the company says will remain faithful to the original story while also being updated visually and mechanically for the modern age. It launches on February 28, 2027, with a new trailer debuting during the Xbox Games Showcase(https://www.gamespot.com/articles/persona-4-revival-coming-february-2027-included-in-game-pass/). If you're looking to see what all the JRPG fuss is about, Persona 5: Royal will be added(https://www.gamespot.com/articles/xbox-game-pass-new-games-for-june-revealed/) to the Xbox Game Pass library on June 9.
Persona 6 Finally Revealed, Though We Still Don't Know Much About It At All
!Game Informer News(https://www.gameinformer.com/sites/default/files/styles/bodydefault/public/2026/06/07/af98a00a/p6.jpg.webp) Persona 6 has finally been revealed – it's real! It's been nearly 10 years since the last new mainline Persona game. Unfortunately, the existence of Persona 6 is quite literally all we know. In the teaser reveal trailer, which aired during today's Xbox Games Showcase, we got a strange and mysterious look at what appears to be a graveyard of sorts. The camera pans over the gravestones before highlighting a large monument with what appears to be a nobleman missing a head. We see someone – presumably from our Persona party – touching the monument, and then the trailer flashes to the logo, which you can see as the header image of this story. Check out the Persona 6 teaser reveal trailer for yourself below: As you can see, there's not a lot to go off of here, but it's clear this game's color theme is green, following blue for Persona 3, yellow for Persona 4, and red for Persona 6. As for what this means, or how our cast will summon their Personas, that remains a mystery.
🎮 PlayStation, Xbox, Multi-platformPersona 6 exists, and that’s all we know
This year's Summer Game Fest turned out to be a good one for fans of Japanese RPGs. Atlus confirmed Persona 6 exists with a brief teaser, but aside from &8230;
