Surprisingly, the game will also release for all platforms simultaneously. The Final Fantasy VII remake series will no long start as a PlayStation exclusive. The game's director says that Revelation's theme is "resolve". We also learned about a new skydiving mechanic which will allow players to leap from the airship down to the ground without any loading. Characters will be able to wear new clothes and armor that will aid in their combat abilities. While the game will supposedly follow the story "from beginning to end," the trailer primarily shows content later in the story. The trailer ends with the announcement that the "next scouting report" will come July 1, in just under a month.
