Overwatch Is Coming To Fortnite With Skins, Map Landmarks, Hero Weapons, And More

!Fortnite Overwatch Collaboration Crossover Details(https://www.gameinformer.com/sites/default/files/styles/bodydefault/public/2026/05/13/8d7da405/fortniteoverwatchpromo.jpg.webp) Epic Games and Blizzard Entertainment have revealed the Overwatch content coming to Fortnite as part of an upcoming collaboration(https://x.com/Fortnite/status/2054637960000311363?s=20). Overwatch will make its way to Fortnite in an update that goes live tomorrow, on May 14, and will feature skins/outfits of heroes Tracer, Genji, D.Va, and Mercy. Plus, the Fortnite battle island will get new landmarks based on the following Overwatch maps: Hanamura, Busan Drum Pavilion, King's Row, and Watchpoints. New hero weapons like Mercy's Caduceus Staff and Tracer's Pulse Pistols will be added to the battle royale's loot pool (and in an interesting twist, Tracer's Pulse Pistols will let you play in first-person when using the weapons). Additionally, new showdown milestones include the payload from Overwatch and loot boxes (though don't worry, loot boxes are not coming to Fortnite). Check out the Fortnite x Overwatch collaboration trailer for yourself below: The Zero Build battle royale mode of Fortnite, which removes all building mechanics from the game's typical battle royale formula, will feature infinite sprinting with your pickaxe equipped, new starting loadouts, overshield siphon abilities, and new pocket items. All of this Overwatch content hits Fortnite tomorrow. In the meantime, read about how Overwatch 2 is just Overwatch again(https://gameinformer.com/preview/2026/02/04/overwatch-2-is-just-overwatch-again-and-five-new-heroes-arrive-next-week), and then check out our exclusive feature(https://gameinformer.com/2026/03/03/the-next-chapter-of-overwatch) about how this year's new chapter of Overwatch is going back to the hero shooter's roots. The Steam Controller Features A Very Familar-Sounding Easter Egg🖥 PC, Multi-platform

The Steam Controller Features A Very Familar-Sounding Easter Egg

The Steam Controller(https://www.gamespot.com/videos/is-the-steam-controller-worth-100/2300-6466841/) has been on the mind of PC gamers recently, and for good reason: it's a very impressive device--though, like many viral tech products, it's currently very hard to get(https://www.gamespot.com/articles/steam-controller-quickly-goes-out-of-stock-after-payment-processing-issues-plague-release/1100-6539769/). Those who have been able to get a hold of the device have been quite pleased with the end product, however. They've been putting their new controllers through all the rigors of gaming--which, we assume, also means accidentally dropping them, because that would explain how a very goofy easter egg was discovered. When you're using Steam in Big Picture mode, the Steam Controller will, when dropped from a height of roughly three feet, randomly play the famous Wilhelm Scream(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wsVHjGJ7Gg) from its speakers. The Wilhelm Scream(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilhelmscream) is one of the most recognizable sound effects in existence, and its inclusion (and randomized playback) on the device demonstrates that the Valve engineers aren't just clever designers: they are very, very silly. But every good news story requires some research and verification, so GameSpot's own Erick Tay decided to confirm the rumor by giving the Steam Controller some good tosses (into soft pillows, of course). The result--the iconic SFX we know and love after a few tries. If you want to see this hidden feature for yourself, we recommend a similarly cushioned controlled environment, rather than spiking it off the floor in a fit of rage. One Of Steam’s Breakout Roguelites Is Getting A Sequel

Deadzone: Rogue 2(https://www.gamespot.com/games/deadzone-rogue/) has officially been announced by developer Prophecy Games, with the studio promising a sharper follow-up to the 2025 roguelite first-person shooter. Prophecy Games says that the core gunplay and foundation of the original game have been kept intact, but it's aiming to deliver an experience that's deeper, more flexible, and feels more rewarding to master. A demo for Deadzone: Rogue 2 will also go live in June 2026 on PC, showcasing how the sequel has evolved the concepts of the first game. As for those changes, Prophecy Games added that Deadzone: Rogue 2 will feature an expanded progression system that gives players greater control and build variety across various abilities, weapons, and run modifiers. New zones and environments will be introduced, and an expanded collection of enemies and bosses will keep players on their toes in the heat of battle. The "core feel" of Deadzone's gunplay will remain intact, but Prophecy Games says that it has been "refined and sharpened" across the board. Forza Horizon 6 Suffers Massive Leak Just Days Before Launch

Just days before it was scheduled to release, Forza Horizon 6(https://www.gamespot.com/articles/forza-horizon-6-release-date-trailer/1100-6535015/) on PC has leaked. Reports have begun circulating online of the entire game being uploaded online, with various piracy websites moving quickly to make the entire 155GB file available to download via torrents. How did this happen? While it was originally speculated that the Forza Horizon 6 preload on Steam, Playground Games explained(https://x.com/WeArePlayground/status/2053895284930105772?s=20) that the leak comes from a different source. The studio says that it's taking "strict enforcement action" against anyone accessing this particular build and will implement hardware bans. Microsoft isn't sitting idly by while one of its biggest releases of the year is pirated, and it has already begun making moves with takedown notices on various sites. In an update, the official social media account(https://x.com/ForzaHorizon5UK/status/2053728387617759297) for the game says that anyone caught playing the pirated version of Forza Horizon 6 will be banned for a cool 8,000 years.
