Instead, you earn points toward new stamps by discovering a set number of roads, smashing mascots, or completing delivery missions and story quests. Barn find cars also have to be restored, which takes a few days of in-game time. In other words, think of barn finds as nice bonuses during your travels around Japan and not something you can quickly get.
