🎮 Multi-platformSoccer Game Rematch Adds A Nearly Naked Man For World Cup And Tobias Funke Fans
The 2026's Men's World Cup is underway, and the popular soccer game Rematch got an update recently inspired by the global event. Now, the game has received another update that adds a skin that lets you play as an almost-naked person. The Naturist is the name of the new skin, and it's in the game's store now. As you can see, it doesn't remove your clothes entirely but pretty much. It basically lets you cosplay as the world's most famous nevernude, Tobias Funke. This is clearly inspired by streakers at sporting events. Someone tried this at the USA vs. Paraguay match recently, and it went horribly(https://x.com/ilySalt/status/2065631370442133798). The Naturist cosmetic in Rematch costs 1,000 Quants with real money or 12,000 Blocks, which are earned through gameplay. https://twitter.com/playrematch/status/2067638594060111984?s=46 Meanwhile, Rematch's World Cup event is called Nations Cup 2067. It's called that because developer Sloclap cannot use the World Cup branding and the game is set in the future. EA's FC series got a World Cup update, too, called "World's Game." If you want an officially licensed World Cup soccer game, go to Netflix(https://www.gamespot.com/articles/fifa-world-cup-game-coming-to-netflix-with-updates-based-on-how-the-tournament-goes/).

🎮 Multi-platformNearly 30 Years Later, Only One GTA Cover Actually Shows The Titular Crime
The Grand Theft Auto series began in 1997, and every game in the series lets you commit the titular crime--sometimes stealing a parked vehicle, but often carjacking a driver in the middle of the street. But with the recent reveal of the Grand Theft Auto VI cover art(https://www.gamespot.com/articles/gta-6-preorders-begin-june-25-cover-art-revealed/), we realized something pretty remarkable: Only one game in the series actually features a grand theft auto on the cover. !(https://www.gamespot.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/GTA-2-11629fd.jpg?w=830) As you can see, Grand Theft Auto 2 appears to show a carjacking in progress, with someone rushing into a taxi while people scatter nearby. It's an excellent cover just from a vibes perspective, but it also gives a bird's-eye view of the action, just like the original GTA and GTA 2 do in-game. In contrast, the GTA games released in the decades since(https://www.gamespot.com/articles/a-history-of-grand-theft-auto-box-art-from-gta-1-to-gta-6/) this have been collages of characters you can meet (or play as) and activities you can do. GTA VI's cover, for instance, includes a shot of a speedboat, a motorcycle, a helicopter, a supercar, and a crocodile, along with several characters. But it doesn't feature a grand theft auto! GTA: San Andreas features a drive-by shooting--a crime committed from a car--but also doesn't show the titular crime. Grand Theft Auto IV, meanwhile, features a cop car pulling a driver over, possibly for a grand theft auto, but it's also possible he was just going 55 in a school zone. Judging by how long GTA 6 took to develop, it's very likely we're going to be waiting a decade or more for GTA 7. When that time comes, however, I would very much like Rockstar to put a grand theft auto on the cover. Hell, there could be seven of them.
