🖥 Nintendo Switch, PC, Multi-platformDeltarune Chapter 5 Is Going Off On Steam
After being announced in a Nintendo Direct(https://www.gamespot.com/articles/nintendo-direct-june-2026-all-the-biggest-announcements-and-games/) two weeks ago, Deltarune Chapter 5(https://www.gamespot.com/articles/deltarune-chapter-5-revealed-and-its-out-very-soon/) is live now and pushing Toby Fox's episodic RPG to new levels of hype. The update saw Deltarune's Steam concurrent player count(https://steamdb.info/app/1671210/charts/max) jump to 291,816, more than double the game's previous peak. As fans check out the new chapter, Deltarune has jumped into the top 10 most played games on Steam--an unusual feat for a single-player RPG with concurrent players normally in the low five figures. The game's previous all-time peak was 133,930 players last June, when the first four chapters were released as a paid game on Steam. The jump in popularity around the Chapter 5 release has also seen Deltarune reach number 13 on Steam's top sellers list(https://steamdb.info/stats/globaltopsellers/). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5y22LUfetA Of course the Steam numbers only give part of the story--Deltarune is also available on PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2, meaning there's probably a whole lot more players getting stuck into the new chapter right now. Deltarune's fanbase is going off on social media, as fans have been waiting a year for the new content to share their theories, secrets, guides and more. Plenty of players have also shared their praise of the new chapter through Steam reviews(https://store.steampowered.com/app/1671210/DELTARUNE/appreviewshash), where Deltarune enjoys a 98% positive rating. Deltarune's first chapter was released for free back in 2018, with intermittent releases of new chapters in the years since. With just over a year since Chapter 3 and 4's joint release, the wait for Chapter 5 has been the shortest yet(https://www.gamespot.com/articles/the-wait-for-deltarunes-next-chapter-wont-be-very-long/1100-6532626/). Toby Fox still has more chapters to release to complete Deltarune's story, signing off Chapter 5's release announcement with a promise that the team will return to to working on the next chapter. According to the game's Steam page(https://store.steampowered.com/app/1671210/DELTARUNE/), Chapter 6 is currently planned for a 2027 release.

Capcom Spotlight Will Feature Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, Onimusha: Way Of The Sword, And Monster Hunter Stories 3 This Week
!Game Informer News(https://www.gameinformer.com/sites/default/files/styles/bodydefault/public/2026/06/23/4b92bef9/dragonsdogma2darkarisendragonfire.jpg.webp) A 30-minute Capcom Spotlight has been announced and airs this Thursday, June 25. The presentation will provide new updates on Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, and Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection. The presentation begins at 2 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET. It appears these three titles will be the only ones featured. Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen was recently revealed(https://gameinformer.com/2026/06/09/dragons-dogma-2-announces-dark-arisen-expansion-adding-new-areas-dungeons-and-cosmetics) during the June 9 Nintendo Direct and will be an expansion that also serves as an improved version of the 2024 base game. It is set to launch on October 9. Onimusha: Way of the Sword has been heavily featured over the last few months. There have been multiple trailers and hands-on previews from the press (including our most recent impressions from Summer Game Fest(https://gameinformer.com/preview/2026/06/12/a-thrilling-boss-battle-makes-for-another-strong-showing)), a public demo, and a September 25 release date. One has to wonder what else Capcom could say about the game it hasn't already, but we'll find out soon. Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection is the only game of the bunch that has already launched, releasing on March 13 (check out our review(https://gameinformer.com/review/monster-hunter-stories-3-twisted-reflection/beauty-and-the-toothless-beast)). Perhaps Capcom will announce some sort of DLC.
