Aerthlings revives toys-to-life with NFC figures and a lineage-based trading system📱 Mobile

Aerthlings revives toys-to-life with NFC figures and a lineage-based trading system

Toys-to-life has had a complicated history. Skylanders made it feel magical, Amiibo made it feel collectible, and then the whole thing collapsed under the weight of plastic figures nobody had shelf space for. Aerthlings is taking another run at it, launching in the US on iOS and Android with a twist on the formula that's at least trying to do something different. The setup is straightforward enough. You buy physical cube-shaped NFC mystery boxes called FIGs, scan them into the game, and a character hatches into your roster. From there, it's a mobile RPG – levelling up, battling, rebuilding a shattered planet called Aerth while fending off the Moonlings who broke it in the first place. The RPG itself is free. The FIGs are sold separately, which is where the business model lives. ... MORE(https://www.pocketgamer.com/aerthlings/official-launch/)

Alien Morgue lets you dissect extraterrestrial bodies in a narrative-driven medical sim on iOS and Android📱 Mobile

Alien Morgue lets you dissect extraterrestrial bodies in a narrative-driven medical sim on iOS and Android

Yesterday I wrote about guiding a piece of bacon through the human body. Today I’ve got a scalpel in hand, and I’m cutting open aliens. Two anatomy-adjacent oddities back-to-back were not on my 2026 bingo card, but here we are. Alien Morgue flips the usual medical sim setup on its head. Instead of patching people up, you’re figuring out what went wrong after the fact. Except the people in question come with wildly different anatomies, rules, and surprises tucked inside. It’s out now on iOS and Android. ... MORE(https://www.pocketgamer.com/alien-morgue/official-launch/)

Tom Clancy's The Division Resurgence is now available worldwide on iOS and Android📱 Mobile

Tom Clancy's The Division Resurgence is now available worldwide on iOS and Android

It would seem that, after a long period of frequent radio silences, Ubisoft's mobile hiatus has finally been broken. Alongside the upcoming Rainbow Six Mobile, today sees the long-awaited arrival of The Division Resurgence on iOS and Android! And it promises to offer new and returning fans a taste of the shooter action in the palm of their hand. For those not in the know, The Division Resurgence is set in New York during an outbreak of a disease nicknamed Dollar Flue (since it spreads via paper currency). You play as a member of the titular Division, a sleeper agent embedded in society that's brought on board to try and bring things under control. ... Rec Room shutting down nearly 10 years after launch📱 Mobile

Rec Room shutting down nearly 10 years after launch

Seems as though it's a big day for games shutting down, what with The Elder Scrolls: Blades finally set to close its servers, and also Rec Room winding down their operations. Yes, unfortunately, June 1st will mark the end of Rec Room's nearly ten-year journey on multiple platforms, including mobile. Rec Room has often been described as something of a Roblox competitor, but the VR platform mainly focused on user-generated content, although its focus tended to be a bit narrower than Roblox. However, clearly the overheads for that were quite high, and Rec Room has blamed a lack of profitability on their struggle to stay afloat. ... Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links to introduce new Character Deck Duel mode📱 Mobile

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links to introduce new Character Deck Duel mode

One thing that distinguishes the world of Yu-Gi-Oh! from that of, say, Magic: The Gathering or even Pokémon is the truly wacky world of its manga inspiration and anime adaptation. With iconic villains such as Pegasus and Kaiba, or protagonists like Jaden and Yugi, each Yu-Gi-Oh! character has a distinct personality. And a distinctive deck, come to think of it. Which is probably why playing theme decks is such a popular pastime among Yu-Gi-Oh! enthusiasts. Now, Duel Links is set to introduce a brand-new mode that lets you jump into just such duels with the new Character Deck Duel PvP mode. ... Vampire: The Masquerade - Clans of London sets release for middle of next month📱 Mobile

Vampire: The Masquerade - Clans of London sets release for middle of next month

The name Vampire: The Masquerade may conjure images of campy tabletop role-playing sessions or cult-hit PC RPGs, depending on where you first encountered the World of Darkness. But it may be that a whole new audience is about to enter the shadowy world of the masquerade with the upcoming launch of Clans of London on April 16th! Set to arrive on iOS and Android, Clans of London is best described as a Marvel Snap-like, a fast-paced card battler featuring characters and locations inspired by real-life London and a fictional underground vampire society which controls it from the shadows in Vampire: The Masquerade. ... DropShot Mobile challenges you to fall and fire in this exciting twist on the FPS format📱 Mobile

DropShot Mobile challenges you to fall and fire in this exciting twist on the FPS format

You know, it's rare that a game grabs you from the very first paragraph describing it. But DropShot Mobile certainly did with the description of its main character, Smoke Wallace. Check it out: 'As a kid, he was bitten by a radioactive dragon, turning his skin purple and giving him the power to fire bullets from his fingertips.' It's certainly an attention grabber. And DropShot Mobile's gameplay certainly doesn't disappoint. What's cooler than shootouts? How about shootouts with dragons? How about shootouts with dragons as you fall through an endless abyss? How about shootouts with dragons as you fall through an endless abyss using your fingers as guns? ... 3 Healers puts you in the safe hands of famous past mystics📱 Mobile

3 Healers puts you in the safe hands of famous past mystics

It is not every day that you experience the birth of a new genre. Even less so, one of literal biblical proportions. However, this is exactly what pc4gamers has done, on mobile, despite their name. They have created the first action healer for Google Play, with the release of 3 Healers. Here, you take control of one of three healers, shockingly. These include Jesus Christ from Christianity, Rasputin, the historic Russian Mystic and subject of that one song you can never forget, and Bruno Gröning, from Germany, who enjoyed some popularity in the middle of the last century. If nothing else, you will learn something from playing this. ... MORE(https://www.pocketgamer.com/3-healers/out-now-on-android/)

Elder Scrolls: Blades set to shutter as it's delisted on multiple storefronts📱 Mobile

Elder Scrolls: Blades set to shutter as it's delisted on multiple storefronts

I think it's fair to say that on mobile, name recognition means nothing if you can't build a solid fanbase. And while it may have been a long time coming, Bethesda have certainly found out this is the case with their shuttering of The Elder Scrolls: Blades for mobile. Already delisted from both the App Store and Google Play, The Elder Scrolls: Blades will permanently close its servers on June 30th. So, if you're an existing player, you can log in and enjoy a bundle of Gems and Sigils being gifted to everyone, and try to get through whatever content you have remaining. ... CookieRun: OvenSmash tops the charts on the App Store with over a million downloads already📱 Mobile

CookieRun: OvenSmash tops the charts on the App Store with over a million downloads already

With its mixture of the ever-popular Cookie Run characters and fast-paced PvP gameplay, I think it was a safe bet that it would prove to be popular. I mean, it's why Cristina put in the hours for several starter guides, after all. But after only a few days of launch, OvenSmash has already hit one million downloads! Not to mention topping the App Store charts in the US and Korea, of course. If you're not familiar, OvenSmash functions as something of a fusion between MOBA and regular PvP battler as you select your preferred role and battle it out with other players. ... Ice Bot brings momentum-based sliding puzzles to iOS and Android this week📱 Mobile

Ice Bot brings momentum-based sliding puzzles to iOS and Android this week

Sliding puzzles usually give you time to think. Ice Bot gives you that, then takes control away the moment you commit to a move. Launching this week on iOS and Android, this minimalist puzzler builds around momentum. Push a block, and it doesn't stop until something physically gets in the way. That one rule reshapes everything, turning simple layouts into problems you have to visualise a few steps ahead before touching anything. ... Bacon in Zane lets you explore the human body as a sentient strip of bacon📱 Mobile

Bacon in Zane lets you explore the human body as a sentient strip of bacon

You are a piece of bacon. You are travelling through a human body. This is a real game that exists, and you can play it. Bacon in Zane is the latest from kamibox, and it treats human anatomy the way a fever dream treats logic. One moment, you're nudging bacteria around the small intestine. The next time you're tapping through breathing patterns. Then neurons. All with one finger. The body, apparently, is just a series of minigames waiting to happen. ...
