📱 MobileBattle Waves: Mobile is an upcoming, deck-building auto-battler, promising endless combinations
It's another day ending with 'y', and that means there's a brand-new deckbuilder coming to mobile! But Battle Waves: Mobile may just stand out, not just because it's not a roguelike, but through its gameplay. The first release from the newly opened indie studio Gabriel's Games, could be what they need to put their name on the map. Battle Waves is simple and pretty much described by the title. You build up your deck, place down units and watch them traverse down lanes towards the enemy. Your goal is to build up the proper combinations to counter your opponent's picks, eventually overwhelming them and reaching their base at the end. ... 📱 MobileAlien Tribe 3 looks to offer real-time 4X action on iOS this month
Ever since it was first inaugurated, the holy grail of the 4X genre has been space. Be that Stellaris or Endless Space, the final frontier and its conquest is perhaps the most enduring setting besides Earth itself. Now, iOS fans may have another hit on their hands with Alien Tribe 3. In Alien Tribe 3, you're offered the exceptional challenge of conquering the galaxy through the usual 4X (explore, expand, exploit, exterminate) means. All of which is done in real time, from conquering different solar systems to pure galactic-scale conquest. But it's not enemy factions that're the main problem for your fledgling empire, but those from beyond. ... MORE(https://www.pocketgamer.com/alien-tribe-3/coming-soon-to-ios/)
📱 MobileCygames renews trademark on long-dormant Platinum Games collab, Lost Order
When it comes to gaming, it's not uncommon for something highly anticipated to be announced, end up in development hell and be quietly shelved with neither press nor players any the wiser. Sometimes, however, things do brighten up a bit, as is the case today with Cygames and the long-dormant Lost Order. As reported by the folks over at Gematsu, it seems that Cygames have filed a new trademark extension for Lost Order. First announced back in 2016, this was slated to be a mobile RPG developed in collaboration with cult-hit developer Platinum Games. It even received a brief closed beta and seemed to be well along in development before going dormant. ... MORE(https://www.pocketgamer.com/lost-order/cygames-trademark-again/)

The popular mobile game Wordle is becoming a primetime TV show, with participants basically playing the game together in person with the hope of taking home a cash prize. The show will air on NBC, with popular Today Show broadcaster Savannah Guthrie serving as the host. The Wordle TV show will film in Manchester, England and is set to premiere on NBC in prime time beginning in 2027, The New York Times--which owns Wordle--announced today(https://www.nytimes.com/2026/05/11/business/media/wordle-nbc-savannah-guthrie.html). The New York Times will co-produce the half-hour show, which is said to feature the game's well-known typeface and color scheme. 📱 MobileSupercell set to team with Paw Patrol makers Spin Master for new toy lines
Supercell, the developer behind mobile hits such as Clash of Clans, Brawl Stars and Clash Royale, is set to team with Spin Masters to develop a new series of toy lines. That includes everything from plushes to collectible figurines and other accessories fit for any kid (or adult collector) to add to their toy chest. Spin Master might be recognisable to the parents out there as the studio behind both existing toy lines and the hit animated series PAW Patrol. 📱 MobileRacing Master, the NetEase and Codemasters co-developed racer, comes to mobile worldwide
It wasn't long ago that NetEase's name was mud amongst gamers. But in recent years, they've somewhat redeemed themselves with a string of massive hits, including Marvel Rivals, as well as upcoming releases such as Sea of Remnants. However, today's topic is a little more... grounded (because wheels), as Racing Master hits worldwide launch! Previously available only in Asia, Racing Master is co-developed by both NetEase Games and Codemasters, the folks behind the F1 series, Dirty Rally, and other hit racing sims. With over 100 different licenced cars reproduced in minute detail, as you might expect, Racing Master is pitching itself as a car lover's dream game. ... 📱 MobileFruit Ninja Adventures opens pre-registration on iOS and Android for an in-depth fruit-slicing quest
When it comes to cornerstones of the early mobile gaming world, there are some names that always come to mind. Jetpack Joyride, Subway Surfers and, of course, Fruit Ninja. Now, the upcoming Fruit Ninja Adventures is set to expand on the simple gameplay of the original as it hits pre-registration on iOS and Android. For those who (somehow) have never heard of it before, Fruit Ninja sees you using your finger to 'slice' flying fruits that are thrown across the screen. The challenge lies in avoiding slashing dangerous bombs, as well as building up a sufficiently skilled combo to progress. ... 📱 MobileMeg's Monster is out now on iOS and Android for a childcare take on saving the world
Just to finish up the day, let's have a look at a brand-new launch that's well worth looking into if you enjoy interesting new spins on a concept. On the surface, Meg's Monster is a very typical JRPG, but dig a little deeper, and there's plenty of interesting stuff in this newly released game for iOS and Android. In Meg's Monster, you play not as Meg herself, but as the titular monster. This monster, an ogre named Roy, is a super-powerful creature with a health bar in the thousands at least. But he's protecting Meg. And why? Well, because when she starts to cry, the world starts to end. ... MORE(https://www.pocketgamer.com/megs-monster/out-now/)
📱 MobileDiablo Immortal to bring in the world of Starcraft for new crossover event this month
I think after the Doom: The Dark Ages collab, few of us expected that Diablo Immortal could pull out any more dire threats to the world of Sanctuary. But Blizzard has plumbed the depths of their own back catalogue, with the appearance of none other than the forces of Starcraft! Now, don't get too excited because it doesn't seem you'll be donning Terran Marine armour to hold back the hordes. But you will be able to take on both the Protoss and the Zerg, the ancient alien and Tyran- I mean Xenomo- I mean completely original Blizzard creations in their respective dungeons! ... 📱 MobileGenshin Impact announces its latest major update arriving this month with new characters and quests
Despite many competitors coming to the fore, even from MiHoYo themselves, Genshin Impact remains an impassable mainstay of mobile. Now, MiHoYo have announced the latest major update for the hit ARPG in the form of version Luna VII (subtitled Truth Among the Pages of Purana), set to launch on May 20th. Now, I'm not a Genshin player myself, but judging by the gravitas with which names like Il Dottore are bandied around in this update, things look to be quite serious. And once more, it'll be up to the player and pals to defend the land of Sumeru as Nahida falls into a seemingly magical slumber. ... 🖥 PC, MobileSongs of Conquest announces launch for its Yulan DLC but no news yet for mobile
Lavapotion's homage to the Heroes of Might and Magic franchise, Songs of Conquest, has unveiled the release date for its new DLC. The Yulan faction, the latest to join the conflict, hails from the isolated region of Aerbor. PC players can expect to get their hands on it come June 4th, but, unfortunately, there's no news yet for mobile. Songs of Conquest is a personal favourite of mine (though mainly on PC), and allows players to take control of various distinct factions led by Wielders. These magic-using heroes allow you to enhance your already formidable tide of human warriors, undead legions, ruthless mercenaries, bizarre animals and beyond. ...
