New Xbox CEO Considering "Range Of Options" For Exclusive Games Going Forward - Report

One of the changes that Xbox CEO Asha Sharma could make as the new boss could pertain to Microsoft's controversial multiplatform strategy. She said as much during a recent town hall(https://www.gamespot.com/articles/microsoft-gaming-is-dead-to-be-replaced-by-return-to-xbox-branding-report/1100-6539586/), and now new reporting from The Verge(https://www.theverge.com/tech/925966/microsoft-return-to-xbox-town-hall-notepad?viewtoken=eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiJ9.eyJpZCI6Ikd0NklTdmI4TUsiLCJwIjoiL3RlY2gvOTI1OTY2L21pY3Jvc29mdC1yZXR1cm4tdG8teGJveC10b3duLWhhbGwtbm90ZXBhZCIsImV4cCI6MTc3ODYwMTY5OCwiaWF0IjoxNzc4MTY5Njk4fQ.w8rV1bHh2lDbPDNEpqsJzxs3pX20kGREOeqLN6yKhTI&utmmedium=gift-link) states that Sharma is "evaluating a range of options for Xbox exclusive games." The report said Sharma is "treading carefully" and is not yet ready to sign off on "any major changes" to the policy. This is hardly a surprise. Before this, Sharma said she's trying to make "the right decision, not the fastest decision."(https://www.gamespot.com/articles/are-xbox-exclusives-coming-back-heres-what-xbox-ceo-asha-sharma-had-to-say/1100-6539615/) Whatever Sharma and the team land on in terms of exclusives will amount to "long-swinging decisions that have decade-long impact," she said.
