!Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered(https://www.gameinformer.com/sites/default/files/styles/bodydefault/public/2026/06/06/1a610fb1/Godzilla%201.jpg.webp) Developer Pipeworks Studios and publisher Atari have revealed Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered, and it's launching on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC on November 3. As the name implies, it's a remaster of the original 2002 kaiju brawler hit (at least in my living room), Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee. When it launches this November, the remaster will bring enhanced visuals, an improved unlock system, quality-of-life improvements, and more to the original experience. It will also include the addition of online multiplayer, allowing you to duke it out in Versus or Melee modes, both online and via local couch co-op. Check it out in the Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered reveal trailer below: Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered will feature 12 monsters to unlock and choose from, including, of course, the big man himself, Godzilla, alongside King Ghidorah, Mechagodzilla, Rodan, and plenty more. If you're interested in a physical edition of the game, Atari is publishing one for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. The game will be available on November 3 digitally on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Did you play this back in the early 2000s? Let us know in the comments below!

Star Trek: Shadow Frontier Is A New Horror Game From Silent Hill 2 Remake Dev Bloober Team Coming Next Year

!Star Trek Shadow Frontier Horror Game Bloober Team Paramount Announcement Teaser(https://www.gameinformer.com/sites/default/files/styles/bodydefault/public/2026/06/04/baa5b1c4/startrekshadowfrontier.jpg.webp) Bloober Team, the studio behind Silent Hill 2 Remake(https://www.gameinformer.com/review/silent-hill-2/engrossing-and-unsettling) and last year's Cronos: The New Dawn(https://www.gameinformer.com/review/cronos-the-new-dawn/solid-survival-horror), and Paramount Games Studio, which recently revealed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin is being developed by Platinum Games(https://gameinformer.com/sgf-2026/2026/06/03/teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-the-last-ronin-is-being-developed-by-platinum), have unveiled Star Trek: Shadow Frontier, a psychological horror game launching next year. Revealed during IGN Live, Shadow Frontier puts players in control of Star Trek: The Next Generation's Ro Laren after she crash-lands on a mysterious planet to answer a distress call when it launches in 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Michelle Forbes, who played the character in The Next Generation, returns to play the character in Shadow Frontier, and though she only appeared in just a handful of episodes across the series' seven seasons, she made an impact on Trekkies, making her reappearance in the first-ever Star Trek horror game an exciting one. "The planet Ro Laren lands on is a spaceship graveyard where nothing is as it seems," a press release reads. "As she explores the planet's corrupted surface and crosses paths with other survivors, she must face twisted creatures, a hostile ecosystem, and an entity that seeks to envelop her body and mind." Check it out in the Star Trek: Shadow Frontiers trailer below: Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno says many at the studio are lifelong Star Trek fans, and that the team looks forward to "combining that passion with what we do best, horror." "We've partnered with Paramount to create something truly unique: a new adventure set in a beloved universe, enriched with our own signature layer of dark, psychological thriller," Babieno writes in a press release. "We're genuinely excited about this journey, and our hope is to honor the legacy of Star Trek in a way that feels both respectful yet refreshingly different." Star Trek: Shadow Frontier doesn't have an exact release date, but Bloober Team and Paramount Games say it's due out next year on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Halloween: The Game’s Scary New Story Trailer Shows Michael Myers Finding His Mask And Knife🎮 Multi-platform

Halloween: The Game’s Scary New Story Trailer Shows Michael Myers Finding His Mask And Knife

A new trailer for Halloween: The Game premiered today at the Future Games Show, and it's terrifying. The new trailer focuses on the game's single-player mode, in which players take on the role of Michael Myers as they set out to terrorize the people of Haddonfield(https://halloweenmovie.fandom.com/wiki/Haddonfield,Illinois). The game's campaign invites players to live out the story of how Michael Myers escaped from the Smith's Grove Sanitarium and the brutality that followed. "Unlike the film’s protagonists, who desperately attempt to survive an encounter with The Shape, Halloween: The Game encourages players to embody pure evil and commit the horrors that occurred on Halloween Night in 1978 firsthand," reads a line from the game's description. Check out the trailer below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=563lX1ehHs The game's story plays out through six chapters, one of which tells the story of how Myers came to acquire his now-iconic outfit and his kitchen knife. You can get a glimpse of this in the new trailer. Halloween: The Game also has a multiplayer mode in which one player takes on the role of Myers and the other four are trying to survive. Additionally, developer Illfonic announced that digital preorders for Halloween: The Game are available starting today, June 6. The standard edition is $40 and the deluxe edition is $60. The deluxe edition includes the Phantom Michael Myers skin and four-day early access to the game, starting on September 4. The game unlocks for everyone else on September 8. Halloween: The Game is coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Vampire Survivors Studio Is Expanding In A Big Way, Starting With An “Evil Twin” DLC🖥 PC, Multi-platform

Vampire Survivors Studio Is Expanding In A Big Way, Starting With An “Evil Twin” DLC

Vampire Survivors(https://www.gamespot.com/games/vampire-survivors/) developer Poncle Games had some big news to share at the Future Games Show Summer Showcase, starting with the announcement of a new chapter for its hit game. Called Legacy of the Bloodmoon, this new expansion will be released later in the Summer season, and Poncle has described it as an "evil twin" to the previously released Legacy of the Moonspell add-on. The new DLC adds 10 new characters, 16 new weapons and evolutions, a new extra-large stage, and more music tracks. Legacy of the Moonspell will also be expanded with new content and will be available at a reduced price, and an upcoming patch adds a new stage, characters, weapons, and Darkanas. Rolling out to PC via Steam first, it'll go live for other platforms at a later date, Poncle says. The other big news was the formation of Survivaton, a new label at Poncle dedicated to its Survivors-like projects, and a Japan branch of the studio. Short for "survive a ton," the label focuses on internal projects built on the foundation of Vampire Survivors, including collaborations like Warhammer 40,000: Survivors. "Each project will aim to introduce major gameplay changes, content expansions, or genre twists exploring ideas substantial enough to stand as their own games," Poncle said. Lastly, Poncle Japan will oversee local development initiatives and strategic partnerships across the region, serving as a bridge between Poncle's global operations and Japanese players, creators, and industry partners under the guidance of studio head Sawaki Takeyasu. Since its launch a few years ago, Vampire Survivors has become a massive success story in games. The early-access PC release became a huge hit thanks to its easy-to-learn gameplay and deep systems, growing with new expansions, and even crossing over with popular Konami IP like Contra and Castlevania(https://www.gamespot.com/articles/castlevania-as-a-vampire-survivors-metroidvania-would-make-so-much-sense-poncle-says/1100-6536381/). Earlier this year, Poncle released Vampire Crawlers(https://www.gamespot.com/reviews/vampire-crawlers-review-pixel-perfect-pandemonium/1900-6418483/), a survivor-like spin on roguelike deckbuilders that was also well received by players and critics.

Poncle Reveals Vampire Survivors: Legacy Of The Bloodmoon Expansion, New Japanese Studio Led By DMC Artist, And More

!Poncle Japan Survivaton Vampire Survivors Legacy of the Bloodmoon Crawlers(https://www.gameinformer.com/sites/default/files/styles/bodydefault/public/2026/06/04/63b8fc4f/Vampire%20Survivors.jpg.webp) Developer-publisher Poncle released Vampire Survivors(https://www.gameinformer.com/product/vampire-survivors) back in 2022, and since then, the studio has continued to expand with new games like this year's Vampire Crawlers(https://www.gameinformer.com/product/vampire-crawlers), expansions for existing games, and more. Now, Poncle is ready for the next stage of its growth as it has announced a new Vampire Survivors expansion, the creation of a Japan-based studio led by a lead Devil May Cry artist, and a brand new label to continue expanding its Vampire Survivors universe of games. The developer revealed all of this news during today's Future Games Show Summer Showcase, leading with the upcoming Legacy of the Bloodmoon expansion for Vampire Survivors, the game that started it all. This expansion coincides with Vampire Survivors' new name – Vampire Survivors – First Survivaton – and is being described as the "evil twin" to the Legacy of the Moonspell expansion. Legacy of the Bloodmoon is expected to launch this Summer on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile platforms (basically everywhere Vampire Survivors is playable). It will include 10 new characters, more than 16 weapons and evolutions, a new XL stage, and eight new music tracks. You might notice a strange word in that paragraph above – "Survivaton." That's the name of Poncle's new label that will encompass any and all of its "Survivors-like projects," according to a press release, and is short for "survive a ton." Sure thing. "The label encompasses internally developed games that build on the foundation of the studio's flagship title, Vampire Survivors, in collaboration with selected content partners," the press release continues. "Each project will aim to introduce major gameplay changes, content expansions, or genre twists exploring ideas substantial enough to stand as their own games." To celebrate the occasion, Poncle is releasing the free 1.15 Update Patch on Steam today for Vampire Survivors, and it includes a new stage, new characters, new weapons, and new Darkanas – the patch will hit other platforms by the end of the month. Plus, a Nintendo Switch 2 version of Vampire Survivors is on the way, though there's no release date just yet. The final big piece of today's Poncle update is Poncle Japan, a newly created Japan-based studio headed by Devil May Cry artist Sawaki Takeyasu. Poncle Japan will oversee local development initiatives and strategic partnerships across the country, and "the team will serve as a bridge between Poncle's global operatives and Japanese players, creators, and industry partners, ensuring the studio's games and initiatives resonate with local audiences while helping identify new opportunities for growth and collaboration," according to the press release. Free Blasphemous 2 DLC Called The Third Sin Just Shadow Dropped During The Future Games Show

!Game Informer News(https://www.gameinformer.com/sites/default/files/styles/bodydefault/public/2026/06/06/a25d5268/Third%20Sin%20Key%20Art.jpg.webp) Blasphemous 2, a great indie game fueled by inspiration from Castlevania and Bloodborne, came out almost three years ago, but its developers at The Game Kitchen aren't finished with it quite yet. Revealed at today's Future Games Show, the gothic platformer is getting free DLC, and it's out right now. Dubbed "The Third Sin," this content adds a new area to the map to explore and battle through, along with a new weapon, outfits, music, and more. The following excerpt, shared via a press release, has a full breakdown of what to expect: Blasphemous II: The Third Sin challenges players to explore and overcome a part of Cvstodia that once served as a refuge for the nobles, until The Miracle wrought devastation within the castle walls. Set across the fortress’s meandering halls, twisting towers, cavernous library, and dank crypt, the expansion also features a gallery allowing players to replay previous bosses, and introduces a new gameplay experience in the form of three Familiars - magical entities that accompany The Penitent One, supporting them in both combat and exploration. Added to the player’s armoury is a new weapon, a blade-tipped whip, enhancing The Penitent One’s move set with a series of standard and special attacks to vanquish foes into dust. Blasphemous II: The Third Sin also includes new prayers, unlockable outfits, five new achievements/trophies, and an additional six music tracks by series composer Carlos Viola to further immerse players into the castle’s uneasy ambience. For more Blasphemous 2, check out our review of the game(https://gameinformer.com/review/blasphemous-2/absolution), where we said, "Blasphemous 2 takes inspiration from those that came before it, but by intertwining a gorgeous art style, enticing exploration, and rewarding combat, it rises above the horde of Castlevania-inspired action titles."
