Here is the answer to today's Connections puzzle on Sunday, 28th June:
- 🟨 Yellow: High-Quality (Choice, Fine, Prime, Select)
- 🟩 Green: Signals to Commence (Begin, Go, Now, Start)
- 🟦 Blue: Accessories for a Guitarist (Capo, Pick, Slide, Strap)
- 🟪 Purple: They Have Boards (Chess, Corporation, Darts, Surfer)
This puzzle walked that infamous line between literal thinking and straightforward vocabulary that the Connections puzzle so often does. The yellow and green groups were built around familiar terms, making them good entry points for new players.
The purple group, on the other hand, could have stumped many. It's hard to switch from more literal connections to more obscure ones, and recognizing the different meanings of the word 'board' was pretty tricky!
