None of the GTA6 info shocks me. $80 seems like what they have been indicating for years. Even if that game fits on a disc (I bet it doesn't), the decision on disc orders was probably made deep into Tariff Territory and discs get printed in Mexico and that was always going to be an issue.

Despite the name, the $100 GTA VI is not really an “Ultimate Edition.” That is the ACTUAL base game. The $80 “Standard Edition” is in fact the base game with standard elements from prior Grand Theft Auto games removed: character/vehicle customization, quest lines, parts of the map there at launch.
