How to get Mega Stones in Pokémon Champions

There are 73 Mega Stones in Pokémon Champions that you can use to supe up your Pokémon. We have a full list of Mega Evolutions over in our guide to all Pokémon in Pokémon Champions, but if you're wondering exactly how to get your hands on Mega Stones, we're here to help.

When you have a Mega Stone, you can equip it to that respective Pokémon by adding the Pokémon to your team, then selecting the option to give it an item to hold. Press R until you find the Mega Stone tab, then select the relevant stone. When that Pokémon is in battle, select fight, then press R to Mega Evolve.

How to get Mega Stones in Pokémon Champions

The primary method for acquiring Mega Stones in Pokémon Champions is via the Frontier Shop. This can be accessed via the main menu. Each Mega Stone costs 2,000 VP, and once you have a Mega Stone, it can be used indefinitely. Some of the stones available in the shop are also available via the paid battle pass.

However, not every Mega Stone is available via the shop. Some must be unlocked via the Mega Evolution tutorial, which can be found under the "train" menu option, followed by "battle tutorials."

There are also some Mega Stones — four to be exact — that can only be acquired by transferring their respective Pokémon to Champions from Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Those are the three Kalos starter final evolutions (Chesnaught, Delphox, and Greninja), along with Eternal Flower Floette. Once you accept these Pokémon, you'll get their respective Mega Stone in your mailbox.
