Collector Leviathan

The Collector Leviathan in Subnautica 2 dwells in the deep abyss between the starting area and the Alien Ruins, roughly 800 to 1000 meters east of your Lifepod. This massive octopus-cum-squid predator is aggressive. It also uses a really fun intelligent AI that learns your movements and adapts to heighten its chances of catching you.
It's going to make you shudder and it'll also make you squeal as you desperately cling to the water line or seafloor hoping that if you don't look, it's not there. Unfortunately, it'll let you know its presence by some eerie sounds and blasts of its Sonic Echo.
If you're brave enough, you can use a Bioscanner to claim the Sonic Echo as a biomod. I highly recommend being encased in your Tadpole when encountering the Collector. If you're just swimming, it'll eat you up without a second thought.
Shiver Leviathan

If the Collector didn't scare you enough, why not try heading to the World Tree seen from your Lifepod? After around 500 meters of swimming northeast, you'll reach a red wall that alerts you that you're leaving the Early Access area. And when you leave the area and enter the Void, there's another Leviathan waiting for you… or multiple.
The Shiver Leviathan is like the guardian of the outer seas. You're not supposed to reach the World Tree and Unknown Worlds is making sure that you don't. In a group made up of large and small Shiver Leviathans (though all of them are terrifying), they'll hunt you down in no time at all. And they're winged, which means popping your Air Bladder won't save you either.
Great Jaw Leviathan

The Great Jaw is named as such because it really looks like an enormous jaw. What it really is is an absolutely massive clam located 310 meters south of your Lifepod at around 40 meters deep. If you're wondering where to find Lithium in Subnautica 2, inside the Great Jaw, it's a bit of a treasure trove.
Getting inside the Great Jaw to retrieve Lithium and other lovely resources is a whole different story though. The inner sanctum is protected by gooey purple strings that are easily broken. And if you break even one, the Great Jaw will open its countless eyes, spot you and clamp shut to kill you. Well, almost, if you've got full HP. If you're good at hiding, you might be able to wait out the eyeballs until they shut again. I've not been brave enough to give it a go.
Deepwing Brooder Leviathan

The Deepwing Brooder Leviathans are definitely the hardest to find. They're also, thank God, the friendliest. While they won't kill you, they're a little harder to spot, appearing in groups of three in areas of open water. While I scouted out the cliff edges near the Old Habitat around 350 to 400 meters north of your Lifepod and beyond, I had no luck.
Where I did manage to find them though was in that lovely abyss located between the starting area and the Alien Ruins. You know, the one with the Collector… Fortunately, I was able to stop and admire them for a moment before speeding away. If you've got your Scanner, you can even risk a quick scan. If you dare. They can also be found running a route around the Alien Ruins, but you may have to have some patience if you don't spot them to begin with.
