Lego Batman: All 10 Batcave Waynetech Cache locations
Overview & Key Takeaways

If you want to upgrade Batman and his companions' equipment in Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, you'll need to find as many Waynetech Caches as you can. Few are as easy or comfortable to unlock as those in the Batcave. They can be expensive to access, but there's no time limit on finding them; they're all in one place where you're bound to spend a fair bit of time, and many are out in the open. The few that are better hidden are only a tad bit frustrating to find.

In this guide, we'll show you how to get all 10 of the Waynetech Caches hidden in the Batcave. One of them is free, but the remaining nine will either require a bit of hunting and platforming or spending a few thousand Studs to unlock the areas where you find them. Let's get started.

All 10 Batcave Waynetech Caches
There are technically 10 Waynetech Caches in the Batcave, but you only need to find nine of them. The first you're required to open as part of a tutorial.
The first Batcave Waynetech Cache
Shortly after Batman returns to the Batcave after clearing out the Iceberg Lounge with Gordon, you'll need to solve a few simple puzzles. After you do, you'll build your Workbench, and Alfred will send up the first Batcave Waynetech Cache for you to collect.
For the remainder of the Waynetech Caches in the Batcave, I'll be using the Batcomputer as our point of reference. If you're facing said Batcomputer, you're facing north. If you're facing the Batmobile on the level below, you're facing south.
I'll also be titling each Cache section based on the closest major landmark, like the vehicle platform, the Workbench, etc.
Note that I'm assuming you've purchased all the Batcave expansions, as they're required to get all the Waynetech Caches, though I'll still note which ones require which expansions. That process will cost you hundreds of thousands of Studs, but it's worth it - check out our guide on how to get lots of Studs if you're low.
Under the eastern bridge

From the Batcomputer, jump down onto the platform where you select your vehicle, then look east.
Follow the arrow here and check beneath the glass of the bridge. | Image credit: Rock Paper Shotgun/TT Games
There, you can see a bridge that leads toward an elevator, and you'll be able to see the Cache through the glass floor. Drop to the level just below the bridge to collect it.
At the bottom of the western elevator shaft

Start on the vehicle platform just south and below the Batcomputer, then look southwest toward the elevator shaft. Look for two golden Studs, or simply approach the elevator shaft and look down.
Follow those studs and then look beneath to open this Cache. | Image credit: Rock Paper Shotgun/TT Games
On the bottom, you should see the Waynetech Cache waiting for you.
Near the costume display selector
No costumes for this Waynetech Cache. Just a cosy corner. | Image credit: Rock Paper Shotgun/TT Games
Head to the southwestern section of the Batcave to the costume selector, then look along the northern wall on the main level.

You should see a doorway with two golden Studs and a hall leading to the left. The Waynetech Cache is tucked into a corner on the right.
Under the stairs near the Workbench
Don't miss this Waynetech Cache in the Batcave, lurking beneath the stairs. | Image credit: Rock Paper Shotgun/TT Games
You'll find this Waynetech Cache near the Workbench in the southeasternmost section of the Batcave.
This Cache might be rather obvious, but if you never bother to look under the stairs it's still possible to miss it! | Image credit: Rock Paper Shotgun/TT Games
Head to the southern edge of the Workbench platform and look right. The Waynetech Cache is underneath the stairs.
In the Display Area
You'll need to buy the entire Display Area before you can get your hands on this Cache. | Image credit: Rock Paper Shotgun/TT Games
- Coordinates: 623, 1071
- Display Area Zone Cost: 75,000 Studs
After purchasing the Display Area north of the Batcomputer, you'll find this Waynetech Cache on its easternmost end.
In the Training Ground
It's a good thing Catwoman isn't around to snatch up this Waynetech Cache near her Batcave climbing wall. | Image credit: Rock Paper Shotgun/TT Games
- Coordinates: 642, 1005
- Training Ground Zone Cost: 50,000 Studs
This Waynetech Cache is only available after unlocking the Training Grounds. Once you pony up the Studs to get them up and running in the Batcave, the Cache is to the right of the Catwoman climbing wall.
Below the Challenge Board
Don't worry, you don't need to complete all the challenges to get this Cache - but you do need to spend some Studs. | Image credit: Rock Paper Shotgun/TT Games
- Coordinates: 576, 1052
- Clean State Zone Cost: 100,000 Studs
To access this Waynetech Cache, you'll first need to purchase the Clean State expansion. The Cache then appears on the platform directly below the Challenge board.
While this Waynetech Cache is below the challenge board, getting it isn't too challenging. | Image credit: Rock Paper Shotgun/TT Games
Reaching the Cache is simple: from the Batcomputer, head west, around the rock column, then jump down past the computer where you view challenges.
In a corner of the Science Lab

- Coordinates: 641, 1059
- Science Lab Zone Cost: 100,000 Studs
After you unlock the Science Lab, head to its eastern edge. Look behind the liquid analysis device for the glowing yellow of a Waynetech Cache.

Grab the Cache to add it to your collection.
Cave behind the elevator
Probably the best-hidden Waynetech Cache in the Batcave. | Image credit: Rock Paper Shotgun/TT Games
Head over to the northeastern elevator in the Batcave, then look to its left to see a small cavern leading back into the cliffside.

At the end of this cavern is a door you'll need to use Robin to pry open. The Waynetech cache is in the small nook behind the door.
Now you know where to find all 10 of the Waynetech Caches in the Batcave. They're easier to find than those you'll encounter in missions or the open world, so be sure to make good use of them to upgrade your gear.
