Lego Batman: All 10 Batcave Waynetech Cache locations

Rock Paper Shotgun ยป Guidesโœ John Schuttโฑ 10 min read(3 months ago)

Overview & Key Takeaways

If you want to upgrade Batman and his companions' equipment in Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, you'll need to find as many Waynetech Caches as you can. Few are as easy or comfortable to unlock as those in the Batcave. They can be expensive to access, but there's no time limit on finding them; they're all in one place where you're bound to spend a fair bit of time, and many are out in the open. The few that are better hidden are only a tad bit frustrating to find.

They can be expensive to access, but there's no time limit on finding them; they're all in one place where you're bound to spend a fair bit of time, and many are out in the open. The few that are better hidden are only a tad bit frustrating to find.

In this guide, we'll show you how to get all 10 of the Waynetech Caches hidden in the Batcave. One of them is free, but the remaining nine will either require a bit of hunting and platforming or spending a few thousand Studs to unlock the areas where you find them. Let's get started.

All 10 Batcave Waynetech Caches

There are technically 10 Waynetech Caches in the Batcave, but you only need to find nine of them. The first you're required to open as part of a tutorial.

The first Batcave Waynetech Cache

Shortly after Batman returns to the Batcave after clearing out the Iceberg Lounge with Gordon, you'll need to solve a few simple puzzles. After you do, you'll build your Workbench, and Alfred will send up the first Batcave Waynetech Cache for you to collect.

For the remainder of the Waynetech Caches in the Batcave, I'll be using the Batcomputer as our point of reference. If you're facing said Batcomputer, you're facing north. If you're facing the Batmobile on the level below, you're facing south.

I'll also be titling each Cache section based on the closest major landmark, like the vehicle platform, the Workbench, etc.

Note that I'm assuming you've purchased all the Batcave expansions, as they're required to get all the Waynetech Caches, though I'll still note which ones require which expansions. That process will cost you hundreds of thousands of Studs, but it's worth it - check out our guide on how to get lots of Studs if you're low.

Under the eastern bridge

From the Batcomputer, jump down onto the platform where you select your vehicle, then look east.

There, you can see a bridge that leads toward an elevator, and you'll be able to see the Cache through the glass floor. Drop to the level just below the bridge to collect it.

Start on the vehicle platform just south and below the Batcomputer, then look southwest toward the elevator shaft. Look for two golden Studs, or simply approach the elevator shaft and look down.

At the end of this cavern is a door you'll need to use Robin to pry open. The Waynetech cache is in the small nook behind the door.

Now you know where to find all 10 of the Waynetech Caches in the Batcave. They're easier to find than those you'll encounter in missions or the open world, so be sure to make good use of them to upgrade your gear.
