Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Batcave minikit locations
Overview & Key Takeaways

Getting all the Batcave minikits in Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is a multi-step process. You'll first enter the Batcave proper after clearing chapter one, when Bruce and Alfred return to the cave with the intent to fix it up. Seven minikits are up for grabs at this point, and getting them won't cost you any studs. The remaining three are only obtainable after you complete the Shreck Department Store mission and recruit Catwoman. One of them is free, but the other two are tied to cave improvements and cost quite a lot of studs.
This guide shows you where to find every Batcave minikit in Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight and how many studs you'll want to have on hand to get them all. While we've numbered the minikits, it's just in the order that we found them. You can obtain them in any order once you've unlocked the right parts of the cave.

The first kit is above the garage floor. When you enter the cave and are facing the big Batman symbol at the other end, turn around and look up. You'll see it on the metal rim that encircles the garage (and get a glimpse at the next minikit, too).

The second minikit is on a ledge near the top of the cave to the right of the wanted posters. Glide or grapple across the cave, and make your way to the ledge to grab this one.

Ride the updrafts in front of the wanted posters and glide to the circular fixture near the cave's roof. You can walk safely on the fixture's spokes, but the minikit's placement in mid-air makes it a little tricky to grab. Jump into the middle of the circle to grab it.

If you're facing the Batmobile shopping terminal, turn left and grapple up to the ledge. In front of you is a big machine and the Batphone. There's a big drop behind the machine and another minikit hiding behind a rock near the water's edge.

Turn around from where you grabbed the previous minikit, grapple up the ledge, and go to your right. There's a fishing rod sitting next to a tackle box. Interact with it to pull up another minikit.

This one's below the garage walkway. Drop down, and make your way toward it.

The seventh minikit is behind the elevator shaft on the landing below the wanted posters.

The area behind the batphone only becomes available to develop after you finish the Shreck Department Store mission. Return to the Batcave at any point after that, and interact with the terminal. The expansion cost us 75,000 studs, and the minikit is on a platform above the Batman symbol.

A second expansion terminal is also available after you're done at the department store. It's tucked away in a cavern above the waterfall, and you can use the detection option to point out interaction points if you're having trouble finding it. This one is for building a science lab, and it cost us 100,000 studs. The minikit is above the lab.

The final minikit is in the safe next to the wanted posters, but Batman and Jim Gordon can't interact with it. Swap to Catwoman and complete the safebreaking minigame to get this last kit.
There's no reward for collecting all 10 Batcave minikits in Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, but it's essential if you're wanting to bump your progression level up.
