007 First Light release date, time, specs and early access details

It's almost time to suit up as everyone's favourite international super spy, with 007 First Light set to release in just a week. But while you're prepping your martini, giving it a hearty shake while trying your damndest not to hit that sucker with any form of a stirring motion, you'll probably want to know when you'll be able to settle down with your 00 license.

IO Interactive has now revealed exactly when Bond's latest adventure will arrive on PC and consoles, including full details on 007 First Light's release date, as well as the release times for different regions and the early access window. When is 007 First Light's release date?

007 First Light is officially releasing on May 27th, 2026. Depending on your region, it may be the 28th, but you can read more about that down in our release times section.

However, there's another small caveat to that release date. First Light has joined the litany of other video games that offer early access to those who pre-order certain editions, so you may be able to kick off your mission a little bit earlier...

When is 007 First Light's early access release date?

007 First Light's early-access window begins 24 hours before its official launch, meaning those with early access will be able to play on May 26th, 2026. As for how you gain access, it's recently changed to be more accessible to all players. Initially, if you ordered the Deluxe Edition of 007 First Light, you'd be signed up for early access.

However, IO has now offered anyone who pre-orders a digital copy of First Light a free upgrade to the Deluxe Edition. The promotion seems to apply across Steam, PlayStation and Xbox. In other words, if you buy a digital copy of the game at any point between now and the 27th, you can play it on the 26th, and you get a bunch of free suits to boot.

• Europe: 4pm CEST on May 27th, 2026 (May 26th for early access)

• Japan: 11pm JST on May 27th, 2026 (May 26th for early access)
• Australia: 1am AEDT on May 28th, 2026 (May 27th for early access)
