Lego Batman Iceberg Lounge 100% walkthrough

Rock Paper Shotgun ยป Guidesโœ John Schuttโฑ 13 min read(3 months ago)

Overview & Key Takeaways

The Iceberg Lounge is your first full mission as the Caped Crusader in Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. You and Gordon will be working together to infiltrate Carmine Falcone's hideout and bring the mob leader to justice, and it's a fairly straightfoward level without the need to backtrack or unlock any shortcuts. Nevertheless, there are many hidden collectibles to pick up and a couple of points of no return, so you'll want to be absolutely sure you've found everything before you pass them.

In this 100% walkthrough, we'll guide you through the entire Iceberg Lounge mission, including where to find all the secrets and collectibles, as well as the safe code needed to unlock a Red Brick. You'll get a heads-up about when the big fights are coming, and have a better grasp of what to do and when.

The Iceberg Lounge is a very linear mission. You will almost always take only one direction to progress: forward. If you see a slide or are building something, however, understand that you're at a point of no return.

If you're following along with our guide, you won't be missing anything, so let's get started.

Navigating the dance floor lights

Immediately after the opening cutscene at the Iceberg Lounge, you'll get into a fight when you regain control of Batman and Gordon. Clear the enemies, then grapple up onto the scaffolding holding up the dance floor lights.

After beating up the enemies, don't miss the chance to chuck a Batarang at this Disco Ball. | Image credit: Rock Paper Shotgun/Telltale Games

Turn right, and you can throw a Batarang at the first Disco Ball of the Lounge. Crawl through the duct behind where the ball hung.

Before you progress, look to your left for the first of the Iceberg Lounge's Waynetech Caches. These Caches award a special currency you'll use to upgrade your skills back at the Batcave following this first mission.

After opening the cache, throw a Batarang at the nearby security camera to knock it out of commission, then continue through the ducts. You'll eventually emerge out over the dance floor again. Toss a Batarang at the lock on the bar holding up the lights across the gap to reveal a set of gears that Gordon can shoot with his goo cannon. You'll also see the second Disco Ball hanging over the dance floor. Don't worry, another Batarang can reach it.

After Gordon stops the gears with his goo cannon, you can navigate across the gap, past another security camera, and can grapple onto the ledge to your right that runs under the VIP lounge window. Then make your way to the right-hand side of the room along the pipes and climb into the vent. Crawl until you reach the VIP Lounge.

The VIP Lounge and the Red Brick safe code

Once inside the VIP lounge, drop down and beat up all the enemies, then look across from the door Flass comes through for the third Disco Ball.

Now, speak to Flass and Selina Kyle will open a door that leads deeper into the level. However, instead of proceeding, head into the room she was in.

There, you'll pick up a brick with the code 59x on it. 59x is part of the code that unlocks the vault in the room opposite Selina's former chamber.

Head over to that room to see a huge safe. You know two of the numbers and can brute force the third, but luckily we're here to help so you don't have to. Simply spin each of the number wheels until it reads 596 (the full code), and the vault door will open, allowing you to claim a Red Brick that you can later use for customisation - for instance, making any of the game's 126 suits snazzier!

The halls, the kitchen, and more halls

Go through the snowflake door Selina opened and proceed further, clearing enemies as you find them. When you reach a dead end, you'll need to destroy three items in the room: the punching bag on the right side of the room, the tool chest next to the door, and the large fish on the wall.

The punching bag is the first of three items you'll need to bust up in order to make the battering ram required to enter the next room. | Image credit: Rock Paper Shotgun/Telltale Games

Destroy all three, then build and use the battering ram to break through the door.

Take out the chef enemies in the kitchen, then you need to find three food items - a burger, sushi and ice cream - and place them below the TV on the far side of the room.

  • You can find the burger in the cabinet to the right of the door.
  • In the right-hand room, have Batman crank the fish rack to the right, then make Gordon grab the sushi and carry it to the cart below the TV.
  • To get the ice cream in the left-hand room, use a Batarang to open the door, then fire Gordon's goo cannon at the cold air pipe near the ceiling. Doing so will allow some of the ice to melt. Repeat the process on the pipe on the opposite end of the room, then grab the ice cream on the far wall and return it to the cart.

Get the burger in the cabinet, move the fish rack to find the sushi, and blast the cold air pipes to free the ice cream. That's Falcone's food order sorted!

When you reach the hall after the cutscene plays, rather than turning right to progress through the level, clear the enemies and keep left. You'll see another air duct you can crawl through.

In the next room, have Gordon use his goo cannon to stop the gears. Batman can then drag the power cable to the socket on the right side of the door grate. Then, have either character kick the goo off the gears to get power flowing again and claim your second Waynetech Cache.

Don't miss the vent highlighted by the arrow here. It leads to a room where Gordon and Batman need to shoot some goo on gears and then use a power cable to open the second Waynetech Cache.

After opening the cache, continue through the halls until you reach a large room with a giant cackling skull in the corner. Start by using Gordon's goo cannon on said skull when its mouth is open to break off its bottom jaw. Brutal.

Then, trow a Batarang at the skeleton cage and destroy the central set of blocks to enable another build opportunity. Batman and Gordon will make a catapult. Grab one of the steel balls in the back right of the room and fire it at the wall to open the way forward.

Falcone's Funhouse

Beyond the hole, you'll land upon a giant slide leading to...the world's largest bouncy castle? Falcone is much more wholesome than we gave him credit for, if only in his choice of decoration. Or he might just be an intensely creepy guy.

Defeat the enemies in the first room, then go to its far side and turn around. Go up to the upper platform and dive through the rollers to discover your third Waynetech cache.

Proceed through the Funhouse until you reach the second, smaller ball pit. Clear the enemies here, then destroy the fourth Disco Ball.

Keep pressing onward, down a smaller slide, and clear the enemies in the room. Then return to the wall underneath the smaller slide and search around its base to find a grate you can climb into. You guessed it - you can use this grate to go under the wall and open the fourth Waynetech Cache.

Almost there now. Push through the final set of blue rollers and use Gordon's goo cannon on the two speakers to open the way to the end of the level. Rather than ending the level, though, first look to the right side of the room. There's a lock you can destroy with a Batarang, and the final Waynetech Cache sits in the tiny nook behind it.

Now that you've got all those Waynetech Caches, slide down the massive slide once guarded by the speakers and defeat the enemies in the room at its bottom. When all of those baddie minifigs are down for the count, you can find the fifth and final Disco Ball above the stereo system.

Finally, you need to break the record player, the toolbox to its right, and the drumset across the room to build a giant drill that can take Gordon and Batman down to the lower floor. Once there, get ready to bust a move - you'll need to complete a short dance-themed minigame and defeat several more waves of enemies as you chase Falcone out of his hideout into the street.

In the mission complete screen, you should now see a completed Disco Ball, all five Waynetech caches, and the Red Brick. Well done on collecting everything there was to find in the Iceberg Lounge. But your journey as the Dark Knight is far from over...
