Season 3's new Warlords: Supremacy update is live in Battlefield 6 and Redsec. This update adds the Railway to Golmud multiplayer map, a brand-new battle pass, three new guns, and additional attachments. In this guide, we'll show you how to complete the Warlords: Supremacy challenges and unlock all the new loadout gear for Battlefield 6.

Just like past seasons, Season 3 will roll out in three phases. This first season is called Warlords: Supremacy, and this initial phase will include the M16A4 assault rifle, RPK-74M light machine gun, and the L115 sniper rifle as the three new guns. For new attachments, the update introduces the Speed Holster, Aftermarket Buffer, and Burst Mode.

You don't need to purchase the Season 3 battle pass to earn any of the weapons or attachments included, but it's worth noting that you receive a 10% XP boost with the $10 standard battle pass purchase and a 15% XP boost for the $25 Pro version of the pass.

Any weapons or attachments you missed from previous seasons can still be unlocked. These are now found under Battlefield 6's Challenges tab. Each item will have a new unlock challenge for you to complete.

Below you'll find a description for each new weapon and attachment added with the Warlords: Supremacy update and how you can earn each of them.

Warlords: Supremacy's new weapons

All three new guns are found in the free tiers of the Season 3 battle pass. Once you complete the initial "Recruit" path of the pass, you can then choose any other section of the battle pass to focus on. Which new gun you're most interested in will likely influence which section of the battle pass you'll choose.

How to unlock the L115

The L115 is a powerful bolt-action sniper rifle. This rifle is designed for very-long range combat across Battlefield 6's maps.

The L115 sniper rifle is unlocked in the initial "Recruit" section of the Season 3 battle pass, so this will be the first new weapon you'll unlock.

How to unlock the M16A4

No Caption Provided

The classic M16A4 assault rifle returns to Battlefield with Season 3. This is a rifle with both fully-automatic and burst-fire capabilities, and this is designed for short-to mid-range combat.

The M16A4 assault rifle is unlocked in the "Tiger Shark" section of the Season 3 battle pass.

How to unlock the RPK-74M

The RPK-74M light machine gun is designed for longer-range combat. It features lower damage than other guns in its class, but it also provides minimal recoil for better precision at range.

The RPK-74M light machine gun is unlocked in the "Warlord Hunters" section of the Season 3 battle pass.

Warlords: Supremacy's new attachments

No Caption ProvidedNo Caption Provided

All three attachments for the Warlords: Supremacy update are found in Battlefield 6's Challenge menu under "Seasonal challenges." You'll only have access to one challenge to start with, and you'll need to complete it to move on to the next attachment challenge.

How to unlock Burst Mode

The Burst Mode attachment removes the full-auto functionality of a weapon in favor of burst fire. This attachment is available on the season's new M16A4 assault rifle as well as many other fully automatic weapons across various classes.

The Burst Mode attachment is unlocked by getting a total of 40 kills with Carbines or SMG weapons. This is the first new attachment you can unlock for Season 3.

How to unlock the Aftermarket Buffer

The Aftermarket Buffer attachment helps with weapon recoil, but instead of reducing horizontal or vertical effects of a gun, it allows your in-game soldier to fight the visual flinching and other effects.

In order to gain access to the Aftermarket Buffer challenge, you'll first need to unlock it by completing the Burst Mode challenge listed above. Then, you'll need to get 40 kills with assault rifles or DMRs to complete it.

How to unlock the Speed Holster

The Speed Holster is a low-cost attachment that improves weapon draw speed, making it fast to swap from your primary weapon. This attachment is available to equip with most sidearms.

In order to gain access to the Speed Holster challenge, you'll first need to unlock it by completing the Burst Mode and Aftermarket Burner challenges listed above. Then, you'll need to get 10 kills with sidearms to earn the attachment.

Ninja Gaiden III, Ikari Warriors, And R.C. Pro-Am II Join Nintendo Switch Online Classics Library

!Game Informer News(https://gameinformer.com/sites/default/files/styles/bodydefault/public/2026/09/02/3b1a8ce0/ninja-gaiden-III-swich-online.jpg.webp) The NES library of the Nintendo Switch Online Classics has three new titles: Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom, Ikari Warriors, and R.C. Pro-Am II. Each title is available now to subscribers. Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom was released in 1991 as the final NES entry for the series. Its inclusion means the entire classic Ninja Gaiden trilogy is now available to Switch Online subscribers. The same is true of the R.C. Pro-Am racing series, with its 1992 sequel now joining the original (which has been available on Switch Online since February 2024). The run-and-gun action game Ikari Warriors is the oldest of today's additions, launching in arcades in 1986 before being ported to NES in the U.S. in 1987. Ikari Warriors is historically significant as one of the highest-grossing arcade games of its time and helped developer/publisher SNK break through in the West. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Just Got A Surprise Free Update With 8-Player Split-Screen🍄 Nintendo Switch, Multi-platform

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Just Got A Surprise Free Update With 8-Player Split-Screen

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe(https://www.gamespot.com/games/mario-kart-8/) has been Nintendo's golden goose for several years, as it's the company's best-selling Switch game of all time(https://www.gamespot.com/gallery/best-selling-nintendo-switch-games-of-all-time/2900-5070/) and has received various updates over the years, becoming a feature-packed experience. Even with Mario Kart World aiming to usurp its position, Nintendo isn't done dropping new content into Mario Kart 8 yet, as the game just received a new eight-player split-screen mode out of nowhere on Switch 2. It's free to download, allows for up to eight players to share the screen locally, and it looks wild in action. Alongside the new mode that segments your TV like a slab of chocolate, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Version 4.0.0 also adds several more improvements that take advantage of the increased horsepower on Switch 2. In a nutshell, you're getting sharper graphics, CameraPlay support, and shorter load times in addition to smaller quality-of-life tweaks under the hood of the popular kart-racing game. Even player speed has been increased by a whopping coin--whatever that means. https://twitter.com/NintendoAmerica/status/2094968553728274749 But the expanded local split-screen is the real star of the show here, as not only can you strain your eyes while playing on TV, but you can also make your local optometrist happy by watching all those races unfold in handheld mode on the Switch 2. Considering just how much of an intensive load it is to render eight sessions in real time, the new multiplayer mode is a technical marvel to watch. This will likely keep Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at the top of the Nintendo food chain for a while yet. Mario Kart World has its charm, but as fans have pointed out, the anemic amount of content(https://www.gamespot.com/articles/surprise-mario-kart-world-update-ends-a-drought-of-new-content/) added since its launch last year has made it hard to root for. That drought might be coming to a temporary end, as with a rumored Nintendo Direct(https://www.gamespot.com/articles/a-september-10-nintendo-direct-is-looking-likely-thanks-to-just-dance/) supposedly arriving later this month, players are expecting Mario Kart World to get some sort of an update. If you're looking to grab it, a new Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle(https://www.gamespot.com/articles/two-new-switch-2-bundles-announced-just-before-price-hike/) ($550) launches in late September--albeit for $50 when compared to the original launch bundle. You Can Watch A Cow Play Eve Online Right Now

Earlier this summer, Fenris Creations (formerly CCP Games) released an update to its popular online spacefaring MMO called Cradle of War, which the community immediately abbreviated to "CoW." This shorthand apparently sparked a few ideas inside Fenris, and now an actual cow is livestreaming an Eve Online session(https://www.twitch.tv/fenriscreations) from Iceland. The cow, whose name is Valva and username is FC CapitalCowPilot, is manning a mining ship on a deep space mining operation. The team at Fenris Creations fitted its pen with "cow-proof" buttons, which when stepped on will perform certain in-game actions, while a voiceover host delivers cow facts to viewers of the livestream. https://bsky.app/profile/lotrlore.bsky.social/post/3muk2ibt4zk25 As of this writing, over 200 players have joined CapitalCowPilot's mining expedition, with over 4000 viewers watching along on Twitch as the cow moves around its pen. Fenris Creations has announced some community goals which can be unlocked during the stream, including new skins for ships and new updates for the Cradle of War expansion. The stream will run "for roughly 4 to 6 hours," as Fenris admits that it's "on the cow's time, she's not on ours." Valva has made quite an impression on the stream's chat, with some users demanding that the cow be left alone(https://bsky.app/profile/lotrlore.bsky.social/post/3muk24h3hwc25) while on its mining mission. The Cradle of War expansion's non-bovine additions include time-limited Military Campaigns, which let players complete tasks in order to advance their empire's goals, and a new area called Exordium specifically built to help onboard new players.
