Sega Cancels Super Game, But New Crazy Taxi And Jet Set Radio Are Still Coming

The series began in 1999 with Crazy Taxi for arcades, with a Dreamcast release in 2000. The last game in the franchise was a spin-off for mobile platforms released in 2017 called Crazy Taxi Tycoon.

Little else is known currently about the new entries in the Golden Axe, Jet Set Radio, and Streets of Rage franchises. Golden Axe started in the arcades, too, back in 1989, while Jet Set Radio debuted on Dreamcast in 2000--though was known as Jet Grind Radio back then. Last but not least, Streets of Rage started on Sega Genesis in 1991. It's a Sega franchise that has seen a new installment somewhat recently with 2020's Streets of Rage 4.
