Just what a Switch 2 Star Fox game would look like is unclear. The franchise has, for better or worse, not rested on its laurels, with each subsequent game being radically different from the previous one. That hasn't always worked out the best, as we saw with Star Fox Zero, which was essentially a remake of Star Fox 64 but with a two-screen setup that was headache-inducing and not particularly fun. That game released over a decade ago, and it has been radio silence on the Star Fox front from Nintendo since.
