Overview & Key Takeaways

Trying to get all 16 REMs in Pragmata? Read Earth Memories, also known as REMs, are lifelike models of standard items that only exist back home on Earth. They're scattered throughout Pragmata's various levels and can be given to Diana, your adorable robot companion, to help her learn more about both our blue planet and what it means to be a kid. If you think getting an achievement is a nice dopamine boost, then trust me - you've gotta witness Diana play with a water gun REM around your Shelter.

If you think getting an achievement is a nice dopamine boost, then trust me - you've gotta witness Diana play with a water gun REM around your Shelter.

Ranging from flowers to a bug net, there's a nice variety of REMs on display, but you'll need to carefully explore every Sector to find them all. Let this guide help you out - below, we've outlined the locations of all 16 REMs in Pragmata, presenting screenshots and instructions to help you collect every single one.

Below, we'll list the details of each REM and its associated location.

Globe

  • Sector: Solar Power Plant
  • Block: The Concourse
  • Nearest Escape Hatch: Main Control Lobby

It's impossible to miss the Globe, the first Read Earth Memory you get. Diana will discover it when you're about halfway through Sector 1, and it'll initiate a cutscene where she and Hugh discuss the Earth for the first time.

Crayons

  • Sector: Solar Power Plant
  • Block: The Concourse
  • Nearest Escape Hatch: Main Control Lobby

Right before hacking the central unit that leads to the obvious boss fight, take the hand lift upwards and be on the lookout for this fake wall. The REM's right behind it.

You can pick up the Crayons by keeping an eye out for a fake wall near the central room that very obviously leads to the end boss of Sector 1, the SectorGuard. There's a hand lift that leads up here; take it and then sidle around or jump to the right ledge where a Lunafilament lies. This is the fake wall. (You'll see the REM icon through it via your Scan).

Basketball

  • Sector: Mass Production Array
  • Block: Shopping District
  • Nearest Escape Hatch: Shopping District - Entrance

You'll spot this REM behind a gate after entering the Shopping District, but it can't be found until you're in the Orbit: Our World shop. Go down the red-lit hallway with the mannequins until you see a row of boxes that you can climb over; the Basketball is just on the other side.

Slide

  • Sector: Mass Production Array
  • Block: Side Alley
  • Nearest Escape Hatch: Interconnecting Passage

The Slide REM is found shortly while you're hacking the third beacon in this Sector. Jump down to ground level and explore until you spot a fast-moving bot that lurks by an alleyway with a hand lift. (This is the Sweeper Bot, and it'll drop lots of Lunafilaments if you finish it off.) Taking the hand lift delivers you to a rooftop where the REM sits by a mesh fence.

Skateboard

  • Sector: Mass Production Array
  • Block: Business District
  • Nearest Escape Hatch: Office Space

Use the Lim Eraser to get rid of this blockage, and then hack the panel to make platforms pop out of the wall. After this, it's just a matter of skilful jumping and hacking to get to the top, where the Skateboard REM can finally be picked up.

The Skateboard REM is not immediately accessible until you obtain the Lim Eraser. Once you've got it, return to the Business District via the Office Space Escape Hatch, turn left, and erase the dead Lunafilament blockages. Take the lift down until you're in a room with a hackable panel that pulls platforms out of the wall.

Your objective here is to jump on these platforms before they retract and make it to the top of the room, where the Skateboard REM awaits. This one takes some practice to get, as you'll need to carefully jump, hack multiple panels, and use the Lim Eraser on any blockages in your way on the way up.

CRT TV

  • Sector: Mass Production Array
  • Block: Lim Recycling Facility
  • Nearest Escape Hatch: Recycling Control

The CRT TV is pretty obvious, as it's atop a large circular platform that leads to the final area of this Sector. Beneath the platform are spinning lasers that you'll need to fall between to progress.

Flowers

  • Sector: Terra Dome
  • Block: Terra Dome Entrance
  • Nearest Escape Hatch: Central Lift

The Flowers can be found shortly after unlocking the Central Lift Station Escape Hatch and observing the first Terra Dome conversation with Eight through the cat. If you turn left of the door that leads into the Plant Factory and climb onto the roots and broken platform, you can find the REM hanging out on a ledge near the top of the room.

Balloons

  • Sector: Terra Dome
  • Block: Terra Dome Entrance
  • Nearest Escape Hatch: Envirolytics Lab Station

Starting from the Envirolytics Lab Station, head down the stairs and turn right to face a semi-obscured Walker on a grassy, rocky area. Behind the Walker is this REM.

RC Car

  • Sector: Terra Dome
  • Block: Eco Modeling Lab
  • Nearest Escape Hatch: Envirolytics Lab Station

Finding the RC Car REM is tricky until you learn to recognise the landmarks along the way. Go up the stairs in these screenshots to get to the platform with a single tree on it, then drop down onto the container at ground level to see a cave that you can use the Lim Eraser on. The REM's just in there, but you've got to contend with some lasers in the narrow pathway to get it.

From the Envirolytics Lab Station Escape Hatch and the three printing units that require Gen Chips, jump down to ground level and make your way to the platform with a single tree growing from it. (You'll see this REM on the way as you climb some stairs. It's behind a window, and Hugh will comment on how it's not immediately accessible.)

From this platform, if you jump onto a container on the ground and look up, you'll see a cave amidst the rocks that's covered by a Lunafilament blockage. Use the Lim Eraser on it, and you'll open up a laser-lined path that eventually leads to the RC Car.

Swing

  • Sector: Terra Dome
  • Block: Soil Research
  • Nearest Escape Hatch: GeoScience Lab Station

From the rec room with the 2026 release Easter Egg, erase the nearby Lunafilament blockage to make it into the room where the Swing REM lies. A Mini Cabin Figure is here as well - don't miss it!

The Swing REM is very close to the last Mini Cabin Figure hidden in the Terra Dome. After unlocking the GeoScience Lab Station, explore the rec room in Soil Research that has beds, including a little Easter Egg with a note marked "2026, it's real" on one of them. (This is a reference to Pragmata's much-delayed final release date, and the note appeared in one of the game's trailers.)

Exit the room and veer left to see a Lunafilament blockage that you can use the Lim Eraser on. Do so, then proceed into the back part of the room where you can get the Swing REM and the Mini Cabin Figure.

Campfire

  • Block: Mine Entrance

You'll find the campfire in the large excavation area where you first encounter the LunaDigger. It's between a gap in the stairs going up, and as you move forward into the next area, it's pretty hard to miss.

Bug Net

  • Sector: Lunum Mines
  • Block: Warehouse
  • Nearest Escape Hatch: Warehouse Entrance Station

Push the block marked "MOVE" in the first screenshot here, then climb atop it until you can see another block marked "LOCKED". Jump atop that one, then navigate until you can see the side of it that's marked "MOVE." Hack that side to move it, and you'll clear a jumping route to the Bug Net. | Image credit: Rock Paper Shotgun/Capcom

Near the Warehouse Entrance Station, there's a block pushing puzzle for you to solve. Hack the block marked "MOVE" to push it forward. Do this twice to reveal an enclave where another block is visible. Now push that new block forward once, then climb atop it to see another block labelled "LOCKED". Jump to the platform next to the "LOCKED" block and move around so that you can see the other side of the block, which is labelled "MOVE." Push that side, and you'll clear the path to the Bug Net.

Tent

  • Sector: Lunum Mines
  • Block: Main Excavation Site
  • Nearest Escape Hatch: Logistics Management Station

After reaching the Main Excavation Site, you'll unlock some dialogue where Diana and Hugh stand on the moon's surface and observe the faraway Earth. If you walk to the left of the next orange door here and climb onto a broken stretch of the wall, you can stand on some blue tarp. Hop down and find the Tent REM ripe for the taking.

Parasol

  • Sector: Central Port
  • Block: Port Entrance
  • Nearest Escape Hatch: Cargo Terminal Station

From the Cargo Terminal Station Escape Hatch, you'll see the Parasol REM from a window. In order to reach it, do a floaty jump from the stack of boxes near the ledge by the Escape Hatch and navigate around the corner towards the nearest room opening. The Parasol awaits - as does a Crusher MK-II, who attacks when you try to leave.

Water Gun

  • Block: Regolith Lab

The Water Gun is hidden behind a fake door just past the Regolith Lab Red Zone. Jump down beneath the stairs and use your Scan to pick up the hint of the REM, then walk through the door to grab it.

Sandcastle

  • Sector: Central Port
  • Block: Lunafilament Lab
  • Nearest Escape Hatch: Connect Center Station

You can't miss the Sandcastle REM, thankfully, as it's right in your path after you hack the five panels required to open up one of the two terminals in the Connect Center Station lobby.
