Here are your Connections hints for today:

• 🟨 Yellow hint: Words said before your head hits the pillow.
• 🟩 Green hint: Turn it around, read it again, and it's like nothing has changed.
• 🟦 Blue hint: Old words get a modern addition.
• 🟪 Purple hint: Wherever the peak is, these four will be waiting there.
• Extra hint 1: The words in one group look the same spelt forwards or backwards.
• Extra hint 2: Every group has at least one word containing the letter 'N'

Connections answer today

Here is the answer to today's Connections puzzle on Friday, 28th August:

• 🟨 Yellow: Bedtime Parting Words (Night, Rest Easy, Sleep Tight, Sweet Dreams)
• 🟩 Green: Palindromes (Mom, Noon, Sis, Top Spot)
• 🟦 Blue: Modern Add-Ons/Combining Forms (Bro, Coded, Era, Maxxing)
• 🟪 Purple: Top of the ___ (Hour, Line, Morning, Pops)

This puzzle had a mix of familiar phrases and modern wordplay. The yellow group consisted of classec bedtime farewells, Green turned the words right back on themselves, and the blue group explored modern-day linguistic add-ons that you hear nowadays. Finally, the purple group completed four very differed phrases starting with "top of the", which was a classic end to a satisfying puzzle.
