Set in a darker fantasy world than you might have expected, Nodusfall sees player avatars dubbed The Weavers taking on a host of calamitous enemies. The action looks to be a little more careful and calculated, with big swings and dangerous strikes to deal with as players try to take down their foes.
There's a palpable bunch of inspirations here, to the the degree where I'd be stunned if Elden Ring wasn't among them. The action also has a bit of a Monster Hunter to it as well, with the Weavers using their thread abilities to move around the arena and leap forward onto the big bads they're fighting.
No word yet on a release date or any other news for Nodusfall, but we'll likely keep an eye on this tonal pivot for Hoyoverse.
