A new trailer for Mega Man: Dual Override revealed during Gamescom Opening Night Live gave us a new look at the Blue Bomber in action, including the reveal of a new foe and a familiar ally.

The video shows Mega Man doing what he does best: blasting apart Dr. Wily’s machines, though he has a new antagonist in the form of Twinkle Girl. She’s evidently the game’s first Robot Master, and actually looks rather pleasant and whimsical despite trying to kill Mega Man.

We also see Mega Man sporting a new suit that may either represent the power he receives from defeating Twinkle Girl, or a separate transformation in the vein of the armor set from Mega Man X. The trailer ends with the reveal of updated key art featuring Mega Man's longtime frenemy Proto Man.

The Metro games have never shied away from shoving players into a bleak post-apocalyptic world, but in Metro 2039, things are looking especially grim. The gameplay showcased several hallmarks of the Metro's distinct action. These include dangerous metro tunnels filled with soldiers, monsters inhabiting the radiation-filled surface, and the many, many guns you'll have to dispatch them with.
