Here is the answer to today's Connections puzzle on Friday, 21st August:

• 🟨 Yellow: Things Most Animals Need (Nutrition, Oxygen, Sleep, Water)
• 🟩 Green: Calls to Begin a Performance (Action, Curtain Up, Places, Showtime)
• 🟦 Blue: ___ Kids (Comeback, Karate, Sundance, Wimpy)
• 🟪 Purple: Once in a ___ (Blue Moon, Generation, Lifetime, While)

As far as Connections puzzles go, this one was somewhat forgiving! The yellow group immediately jumped out to me as things that I can't live without... literally. And the purple group behaved for once, only subjecting us to light wordplay instead of the more diabolical curveballs that purple is known to throw.
