- 🟩 Green hint: Four initials, four very different meanings.
- 🟦 Blue hint: These things are wearing the same uniform.
- 🟪 Purple hint: These things are a little rough around the edges. Sometimes literally.
- Extra hint 1: One group is united by color.

Here is the answer to today's Connections puzzle on Tuesday, 18th August:
- 🟨 Yellow: Seen at a Movie Premiere (Limousine, Paparazzi, Red Carpet, Velvet Rope)
- 🟩 Green: PJs (Petroleum Jelly, Poetic Justice, Practical Joke, Private Jet)
- 🟦 Blue: Things That Are Orange (Basketball, Orangutan, Sweet Potato, Traffic Cone)
- 🟪 Purple: Things That Are Gritty (Cowboy Coffee, Film Noir, Flyers Mascot, Sandpaper)
This puzzle had a fun mix of Hollywood glamour, abbreviations, color associations, and a surprisingly (albeit frustratingly) broad definition of 'gritty.' Luckily we still have the process of elimination to help us sort out the hardest groups! That's how I got the purple group today. Hopefully our hints helped you get yours!
