Summary

Dragon Vein Shrines can be found from Chapter 2 onwards in Beast Of Reincarnation, and they're among the most powerful and important locations to come across on each map. Interacting with enough Dragon Vein Shrines will permanently increase your maximum number of Stims, your primary source of healing Emma during fights.

The first Dragon Vein Shrine you find will immediately give you an extra Stim, but after that you'll need to find 10 Shrines for each new Stim. So finding them all, across every map, is very important if you want to maximise your healing and combat potential.

We've been hard at work hunting down every last Dragon Vein Shrine in each of the game's maps, and we've put together the guide and maps below so that you can easily track down all the Shrine locations in Beast Of Reincarnation.

Shrines and Life Fruit An extra tip from Ollie

As well as increasing your maximum Stims, each new Dragon Vein Shrine you find will also give you 3x Life Fruit, a special resource used to craft certain special items for Koo, which he can use automatically in battle.

Such items which require Life Fruit include the Life Censer and Resurrection Censer, two very powerful abilities which allow Koo to drastically improve your max HP or bring you back from death, respectively.

Chapter 1 Dragon Vein Shrines

There are no Dragon Vein Shrines in the Ogouchi Buffer Zone, the Chapter 1 map in Beast Of Reincarnation. Shrines only begin to appear from Chapter 2 onwards.

Chapter 2 Dragon Vein Shrines

Here's the full map of all three Shrine locations to find in the Ancient Civilization Zone in Chapter 2:

Chapter 2 Shrine locations:

Shrine 1: At the first locked gate, use the ledges on the right to climb up to the top. You'll find this first Shrine in front of you on the main path.
Shrine 2: Progress the main quest until after you've activated both generators to unlock the gate into the Reservoir. This Dragon Vein Shrine is found on the left side of the large first room of the Reservoir.
Shrine 3: After reaching the Ruins Slope: Approach Campsite, continue along the main path and climb/grapple to the upper sloped walkway that cuts across the approach above you. Follow this path past the enemies and you'll find the third Shrine on your right, guarded by more Golems.

Chapter 3 Dragon Vein Shrines

There are 8 Dragon Vein Shrines in total to find in the Great Wall Terraces map of Chapter 3. Here are all their locations:

Chapter 3 Shrine locations:

Shrine 1: From the start of the map, use the control panel to open the gate, and progress until the path starts to split into an upward slope on the left and a river on the right. Follow the river past the enemy, and at the end, jump over the rocks at the back. Beyond a couple more enemies is the first Shrine.
Shrine 2: From the Mountain Village: Entrance Campsite, head west into the Mountain Village itself. Proceed to the very back of the village and you'll find the next Dragon Vein Shrine by the cliff wall.
Shrine 3: After fighting the Nue Malefact boss, climb up to the ruins on your left within the arena. The Shrine can be found on top of the highest platform.
Shrine 4: After the Nue Malefact boss fight, cross the bridge to the Great Forest: Entrance Campsite, and then head northwest a short distance. You'll find a graveyard area guarded by many Golems, with a Dragon Vein Shrine inside.
Shrine 5: After the second Nue Malefact boss fight, continue following the main path to reach the Flower Square: Forefront Campsite to the north. This next Shrine is right next to the Campsite.
Shrine 6: From the Flower Square: Forefront Campsite, head west across the bridge to the Ruined Road Square Campsite. From there, grapple up to the north, and then turn left from the roof and grapple up to the taller stone platform to the west. The sixth Dragon Vein Shrine is found atop this platform.
Shrine 7: Head north from the Flower Square: Forefront Campsite and you'll find the Flower Field Tower Campsite. From here, kill the enemies on the metal platform to the west, and look down over the edge to the river below. The Dragon Vein Shrine is on a rock in the river; use the grapple points to get down safely and use Emma's Hair to reach the Shrine.
Shrine 8: After your third encounter with the Nue Malefact, cross to the west side and head down to the other side of the bridge. Keep heading west to reach the Ruined Temple Entrance Campsite. Climb the steps inside on your right to reach the final Shrine of Chapter 3.

Chapter 4 Dragon Vein Shrines

Below you can see the locations of all 7 Shrines to be found in Chapter 4's map, the Pilgrim's Zone:

Chapter 4 Shrine locations:

Shrine 1: After the opening Taurus boss fight, grapple up to the right-hand side of the broken bridge above, and follow the path to find Chapter 4's first Shrine guarded by various Rodent Malefacts.
Shrine 2: Continue until you reach the Cave, and head all the way to the end of the path to reach the next Shrine.
Shrine 3: From the previous Shrine, turn around and take the right-hand path. Shoot the explosive barrel behind the door to open the path, and hug the wall on the right until you find a small tunnel to crouch through. Once through, turn around and jump to the upper ledge to reach the third Shrine.
Shrine 4: From the Stone Chamber Interior Campsite, head clockwise all the way around the edge that you're on. Around the corner at the end you'll find the fourth Dragon Vein Shrine.
Shrine 5: Once you reach the Trail Area Campsite, follow the path a short distance south and you'll see a white tent on your left, built against the rock. The 5th Shrine is found under this tent.
Shrine 6: From the Belfry Entrance Campsite, cross the bridge above using Emma's Hair and enter the interior. Immediately on your left you'll see several ledges you can use to reach the platform above you. Open the door past the two Fanatics and jump across the gap between the rocks to reach this Shrine.
Shrine 7: Progress the main quest until you reach the Nushi's Lair Campsite. Before entering the lair, look to the southeast and grapple up to the broken bridge section above you. Follow the path along the edge of the cliff to find the final Dragon Vein Shrine of Chapter 4, guarded by a burrowed Grizzly Malefact.
