Here's where you can find and buy manuals in Beast of Reincarnation, so you learn the crafting recipe of powerful consumable items.
Manuals in Beast of Reincarnation are unique items that unlock crafting recipes for specific consumables. From arrows to potions, Emma can carry and use multiple different items in battle, and they are as useful as the character's main weapons. However, once you run out of them, you have two options to restock: you can either collect them from dead enemies or you can craft them — but this last option is only available if you have their manuals.
To help you maintain your stock, here's a list of manual locations in Beast of Reincarnation and the ones you can buy from NPCs.

Manual locations in Beast of Reincarnation
In Beast of Reincarnation, you can only find manuals for consumable items, and we can divide them into two types: the ones found in the zones and the others you can buy from NPCs.

Whether you found it or bought it, the process is the same. Once you obtain a manual, you learn its recipe, and every time you rest, your stock of the item is replenished as long as you have the required crafting materials. You can check the crafting materials for each item in the inventory menu. Unlike in other games with crafting systems, you can't manually craft items, so you always need to return to camp to prepare for a fight.
Below, you will find the list of manuals that you can only obtain in the zones. To collect a few of them, you will need to fight elite enemies who drop or guard the manuals.

| Oil Container | The Great Wall Terraces | You obtain this manual by defeating the elite enemy at the end of the Maze of Sin. To find it, go to the southeast side of the map and enter the building. | |
| Poison Arrows | The Great Wall Terraces | You can find this manual on a table under a tent west of the Flower Field Tower camp. There are many enemies guarding the area and nearby malefacts, so take your time clearing the path before committing to collecting the manual. |

In this second list, you will find the manuals that you can only purchase from wandering merchants you find in each zone — or from Brad whenever you return to your cleanse walker. Below, you can find a list organized in the order in which you encounter each merchant. It also contains the zones where you first meet the merchants selling the manuals and their prices. After completing a zone, you can find the manuals at any of the merchants you visit later.
