Here is the answer to today's Connections puzzle on Friday, 31st July:

• 🟩 Green: Super Mario Figures (Dinosaur, Mushroom, Plumber, Princess)
• 🟦 Blue: Fruits Plus Starting Letter (Dapple, Jdate, Slime, Spear)
• 🟪 Purple: Starting with Merriments (Cheerios, Fungus, Gleek, Joystick)

If you were looking for one of the most diabolical Connections puzzles, this one would be right up there. No Connections connoisseur is a stranger to word play. But Connections is hard enough when you actually get the words you're supposed to be looking for.

This one had not one, but two groups where you had to find words inside other ones! If those groups didn't trip you up, consider us impressed.
